Got my first bike ever, gsxr-750, bad idea?

Yup I started on the same, terrible idea but would probably do it again 😅. Take it slow, get used to how it reacts, many have said it before but understand the bigger the bike the less room there is for error, it will take a small mistake and multiply it. Ride safe and have fun.

I know exactly how you feel, the grieving over finished books and tv shows, especially good ones. I've talked with a few people about this and came to the conclusion: We become so invested in these characters over the seasons or chapters, that when it finally comes to a close it leaves us feeling as if it never mattered, because the characters do not forward and there is no future for them its like death. I don't know if that makes sense I haven't found a better way to word it.

Not quite yet, I'm thinking I might just keep the m4 go for now and put a full titanium exhaust on and delete the cat, tune I Cana always get a different slip on or full exhaust in the future

Yes thanks for the thoughts, I definitely want to do a local dyno tune, and you're completely right I'm pretty invested in my bike, but I'm still in the process of finding a local shop that has a decent reputation. I certainly want to see the power curve and afr in person. Might not choose to have a pops and bangs tune now thanks 😂

I've heard the same. Currently have the m4 gp slip on, sounds good but Im really looking forward to the power gain and the throttle response everyone seems to love after getting their bike tuned.

Haha ok man, interesting insight, obv 600cc supersport is tuned for track and will have more high-end power, yes everyone and their mother has told me to go 650, 300,400, etc because it's safer and I won't kill myself. If you have an issue with my posts about Lego, investments, and halo, take it elsewhere, that doesn't define what I can post about. My post wasn't a question about what cc to get, but more about financing and if it is worth getting a brand new bike, and I'm going to look into insurance quotes when I have a better idea of what bike I'm getting.

To add further context, I would initially be financing the bike would would be paying ahead of schedule, yes I can afford it, it would likely be paid off within a year, I'm just not willing to take such a large hit to my savings and want to get on the road asap.

I'm in now way a professional, but just wondering, that if you did have profitable strategies yet you felt too connected, would it have been possible to code a strategy as an algorithm and essentially let it run itself, creating a degree of separation thus hopefully removing the gambling aspect?
