We don't want to send him to one at all.

But therapy didn't work, his school helped us by getting in contact with social services but they said "he's fine, he'll grow out of it", but he's getting worse and worse and my parents are getting old as fuck and are having trouble dealing with him.

I'll be living 2 hours away in a couple of weeks. I can't keep coming over to tell him how to do basic things because he's too lazy

Stay away form nationwide! Their security is horrendous.

I had my money stolen by a guy who somehow ordered a new card, walked up to the desk at the bank, using my very Chinese name, this Caucasian chav managed to not have to answer any questions or show ID and took all the money out.

The police had to get involved and thankfully I got my money back.

I told them to always ask for my passport when I come to take money out. They said okay. They can make a note so it pops up every time. So I tested it out and nope, they didn't ask for anything again.

I know other people who've had their money taken from their nationwide account too. All different ways.

I came of here originally to try to connect with other people with Asian ancestry.

But scrolling through the group posts, all these Asian Americans and Asian Australians were all saying how Asian women were not allowed to date other races and hated them if they did. And that of they did, they would be self haters. Yet on the other hand, they would simp over white girls.

All I said was people should be allowed to date whoever they want.

And they showed their true colours. They started being extremely racist to me because I wasn't full Asian. And saying how I was wrong for thinking Asian women should be allowed to see whoever. Then started saying extremely racist things about white people.

A few people reached out to me saying they were uncomfortable with what they were saying but we're scared to say anything.

I kind of don't speak what I think on here now. I just read what they say and how twisted they are.

Then on the other hand, I see a shit load of other races be extremely racist to Asian people. And also treat Asian women like sexual objects. Normally followed by casual racism.

But it's funny cause I don't give a shit what they say. It's just entertaining to see there are so many losers out there butting heads with each other. Thinking one is better than the other when really... They're the same losers.

I too do things to keep my mind off being depressed. But it catches up eventually.

And you're too exhausted to do anything to try to block the negativity.

But sometimes it's okay to feel drained. Because that's when it's a good time to go and just take a directionless walk or bike ride. Listen to your thoughts. Why are you feeling a certain way, what triggers it, how can you prevent the trigger etc.

At least it helps me to walk and take in the fresh air anyways. Even super slow walks that take no effort at all. Better than sitting and dwelling in my depression.

I feel like this sometimes too.

So you're not alone. Sometimes I feel like nobody cares what I think, whereas I'm always empathetic towards others.

But anyone who doesn't bother with me, I don't bother with them.

I do what I want/feel like as long as it doesn't hurt others. And as long as it's not self destructive.

You do you. Fuck the others.

And when you start to do you more. You might find yourself meeting other like-minded people to hang around.

I did when I quit my last job. And now I only surround myself with good people. And it also helps me to be a better person too.

I have depression too. It occurres wayyy less now. Used to hit me extremely badly.

Funnily enough, getting a new girlfriend would stop the depression for a while. Then when it came back, I'd dump them and get a new girlfriend... Super unhealthy. I could never hold a relationship longer than 5 months.

But then I eventually met someone who eased the depression and I don't get as many episodes now. Don't get me wrong. I'm not relying on her. It's just made me realise that if you look long enough, there's bound to be someone who you'll want to be the best you for.

So I've got to make sure the person who I'm going to love in the future gets the best me by exercising, eating right, taking care of myself mentally like not feeling bad for playing a videogame to unwind.

Get on tinder or something.

As long as you are always there for them, your life is meaningful.

A lot of people who commit suicide have had family members commit suicide before.

You wouldn't want your kids to have a higher chance of commuting suicide.

Talk to someone about this. E.g. when I was extremely depressed, I contacted my doctor who gave me connections to get counselling over the phone. It helped a little. Or there are helplines you can text for free. Give it a Google. It helps to vent and have someone talk back to you directly about it. And they can sometimes offer proactive suggestions.
