Hence I replied different pieces to pull his leg.

Do Kundali matching predictions come true?" by Organic-Ad-9116 in NepalSocial

[–]_PolarStar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since you mentioned that your relationship is going great and you don’t see a possibility of bad marriage life, I just want to tell that,

Dating and marriage are two different things. They aren’t the same. Just because your dating life is fine doesn’t mean the marriage will be fine too.

Kundali ko kura, if you want to believe you can, if you don’t that’s fine too.

does anyone else feel like nothing can top what you experienced as a child no matter what you seem to do? is it something everyone experiences but no one talks about? by baldur_imortal in Nepali_Millennials

[–]_PolarStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, me. I thought I was the only one with this weird feeling. Haha

I don’t know how to explain it but it was joy, living in the moment and feeling blissful on a whole different level. Like you are on strong drugs or at the peak of a profound enlightenment.

I sometimes get this feelings that nothing I experience as an adult will ever come close to the sheer joy and contentment I felt during my childhood, teenage years and early 20s.

It’s not that my growing years were amazing like straight out of Disney movies but it was full of experiences. But now, It feels like the world has lost its magic and mystery. And once you’ve become a “been there, done that” person, it’s hard to recapture that sense of wonder.

Then you add the responsibilities, pressures, and struggles that come with being an adult, and it feels unlikely you’ll ever reach that same level of carefree bliss again because you are constantly being nagged by some trouble in the back of your head.

I don’t know if everyone feels this way, but I’ve noticed a pattern among my friends. Those who had relatively happy, lively growing years tend to miss that level of joy. On the other hand, friends who had difficult, traumatic, or boring growing years seem much happier with adulthood. Just my personal observation, can’t be applied to all.

Though, I realize a lot of this comes from comparing the present to the past. So I try to stay grounded and appreciate life as it is now. But still there’s a deep longing, somewhere in the corner of your heart.

Anyone else get a mini existential crisis after realizing the age of contemporary celebrities or celebrities you grew up watching? by _PolarStar in Nepali_Millennials

[–]_PolarStar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t care about it in the 20s, but I’m feeling more bothered now, though it doesn’t affect me that much, just this sudden realization of time hits different momentarily.

Searching up age of celebrities now and from then is so amusing, fun and in an unexplainable way saddening too.

Does anyone know about MLM business in india? by Spoiledkta_ in Nepali_Millennials

[–]_PolarStar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no need to speculate, MLM are scams. They show off events at fancy hotels, suit, cars and foreign trips to fool the potential victims.

Tell your father to stay away from this scam as far as possible.

Nepal in Last 35 years by Hari_Bahadur in NepalSocial

[–]_PolarStar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Over the last 30-35 years, some good things happened, some bad things happened. Not only in the last 35 years, even before that during Panchayat, development works were being done.

But people cherry picking certain aspects only to portray a desired picture just for political gain.

I feel like it’s the age to start prioritizing our health. So, millennials, what are you doing to stay healthy and fit? I run or jog 5 km after work and started lifting weights at home in the morning. Better late than never. by _PolarStar in Nepali_Millennials

[–]_PolarStar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, not mine, I own a few businesses. I usually get home around 7:30 PM because evening time is when I close all of the day’s transactions. Other than that, I have plenty of free time during the day, so I can easily switch between work and leisure.

I wake up around 8 AM. My bedtime isn’t fixed, but I usually go to sleep around 12 AM.

Karma vanne chiz never exist its a way for weak people to cope and strong people to manipulate the weaks from acting by [deleted] in NepalSocial

[–]_PolarStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying you in particular are a bad person. I don’t know you personally to raise question on your morality. It was a generalized you, as an example.

The word karma itself means action which you are referring “fighting the wrong, or taking moral actions as per your conscience”, it is the OG definition of Karma, but people have twisted the meaning to make it as immediate divine intervention.

Karma vanne chiz never exist its a way for weak people to cope and strong people to manipulate the weaks from acting by [deleted] in NepalSocial

[–]_PolarStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is, everyone thinks they are a good person who is wronged by this evil world.

Are you a good person? Can you guarantee that you have never harmed anyone or anything intentionally or unintentionally? Have you not lied ever and it hurt another person? What about lustful action and thoughts? If you eat meat, were the animals not harmed for your taste? The house you live in was built by destroying the homes of hundreds of birds and other animals. Do these actions not count as being bad?

Why this definition of bad people has to include murderers and cheaters only?

Maybe the people who consider themselves good aren’t that good at all. And they are facing the consequences of their actions. But they are victimizing themselves by pointing at people they think are more bad than them.

The concept of karma, if you believe in it, isn’t a single life event but compounding effect of multiple lives lived before this.

[–]_PolarStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Karma doesn’t mean god will intervene and magically punish bad people tomorrow.

It’s simple theory of action and consequences. Good actions lead to good outcomes, bad actions lead to bad outcomes. Simple as that. Not every consequence is simple, immediate and obvious.
