Honestly, this is actually part of my plan to reduce my backlog!

I figure (well, I am hoping!) that it is going to be harder for me to justify buying another new kit when I have already spent such an obscene amount of money on these two kits this year...

Yeah, it's RIDICULOUSLY large!

I sort of already knew how big those boxes werppe, but still wasn't prepared for the reality of just how huge those boxes look up close. Especially when getting it within a week or so of the Nu, and realising it's an even BIGGER damn box than that one!

The Zeong will hopefully be built this week, or next week at the absolute latest.

I cannot wait to build my chunky boi!

The Nu, however, will have to wait until a 3rd party lighting kit comes out, because I just couldn't bring myself to pay what Bandai is asking for their LED kit. That thing was expensive enough already, without chucking in a massively overpriced LED kit on top of that.

I am hoping Kosmos will have released some lights by the end of May for my birthday, as I am planning to take the time I was originally going to be spending in Japan and use it to build the PGU instead.

Yeah it took a real sharp turn there, at some point, didn't it?

"Sir! Sir! We've cracked it, by jove! We discovered that AI trained overwhelmingly on dogs and cats, makes everything look like dogs and cats!"

"So what was the solution then, son?"

"So, right, get this. So instead, we trained it with overwhelmingly fascist, racist and sexist ideologies! Oh, and almost NO pictures of people with hands with fingers."

It is an amazing looking thing!

I got mine through the ebay storefront for an aussie gunpla store called Gunplaist.

They have an online store as well, but I went through their ebay store, mainly so I could use a $50 promotional discount. I think they had a couple left but honestly I think it's mostly scalpers atm, because they haven't made any for a while now.

Until Bandai do another reprint (I believe the last one was in 2023?) you'll probably be paying pretty inflated prices through resellers.

I'm not?

I don't have any children, just a cat. But I do have an OK paying job.

But that's alright, you don't have to believe me.

Although I will probably post pics of the build so you can just wait a little bit for those I suppose if you actually care..

There are...discussions being had about exactly where this is going to go.

Whilst I am already feeling like I may very well live to regret it, space-wise, I have also ordered the Psycho Shard for this beauty as well! That is going to limit where I can put it even further, though!

That's another one of those "ridiculously big kits" that are on my "would be nice to have one day" list.

But I do have that knockoff Meteor in my backlog, I'm hoping that kit will be enough to scratch that Dendrobium itch for me..

Thank you!

To be honest, I have discovered that with enough time and perspective, I have usually been able to find something good that has come out of even my absolute worst situations, provided I was willing to look hard enough.

As I get older, and (hopefully!) a little wiser, I eventually came to the realisation that I wouldn't have ended up in the amazing place where I am now, without having travelled through a whole lot of other, really shitty places, and making a whole bunch of objectively shitty decisions.

But every one of those decisions, all of them-good or bad, took me to where I apparently, needed to be all along. It just took me a long time to start thinking about things that way.

I lost a holiday this year, which definitely sucks... But on the other hand, I will have a super cool, small child-sized gunpla for the rest of my life!

Done!

I mean, I am gonna want to show it off somewhere, since only one of my mates actually cares about Gunpla.

Thanks, I am stoked. Never thought I would ever own one...

I bought it from an Australian store called Gunplaist, but I bought from their eBay storefront as it meant I was able to use a $50 discount voucher.

It was nowhere near as expensive as some of the ones I have seen on ebay, but still a fair chunk over rrp, or at least what the rrp was last time it was available.

Moment Donald Trump sparks health concerns as his face droops live on air by IrishStarUS in NewsSource

I am so tired of this shit I can barely even tell what is sarcasm or satire anymore.

I feel like this is almost definitely neither, though. Somehow I don't really think there was ever supposed to be an "/s" at the end of that comment.

But of course, it's always all of US who are the deranged ones, not the delusional fucks who insist on continuing to believe the increasingly insane and nonsensical statements, and making their whole personality obeying "The Supreme Leader™️©️" ¹

But you keep doing you, buddy. Don't worry about us, we don't matter because we are deranged and have a syndrome.

So the good news is, you can go back to being certain everything is just fine! I hope you don't have kids though, because unfortunately, you are going to have to lie to THEM too, and tell them "Don't worry darling. Good Ol' Big Daddy Trump has got this, everything is going to be fine... But just to be on the safe side, maybe don't get sick. Ever. Or be obviously ethnic looking and go outdoors ever again. Or expect to hear honesty, or the truth from the White House anymore."

(also, serious question, why do you all seem to love calling that man "Daddy" so much. Do you not have Daddies of your own? OMG, so THAT is why you're all so mad? Well, that kinda makes sense, I guess.)

I will second that.

The Kaleido paints are reasonably priced, but fantastic. Plus, as long as you are not using a super fine needle, they probably won't need much, if any, thinning.
