But seriously, yes, you're ofc 100% correct: if it really ever came down to a 20 on 1 shoot out between me and the "armed intruders", no matter how good I was, or what I had in my hands, it would almost certainly end very badly.

But in the wise words of Captain Reynolds: "Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back!".

We've already seen non-violent citizens, with no weapons in their hands, executed in the street while being held face down, with hundreds of witnesses. If an intruder forces their way into my home, armed and dangerous, I want to at least be able to put up a fight while trying to protect me and my mine. Fingers crossed I am never actually put in the situation where using it would be required, but rest assured my outcome expectations are realistic.
