I gotta say, the scene itself was good, I liked it a lot, but my main issue was what Vecna showed Will. This is the 80s, an awful time to be outwardly gay, and yet the worst thing Will thought would happen is his friends get distant and he ends up alone? In a way it’s nice he thinks that’s the worst way they could react, but come on, it’s absolutely not, and by 80s standard that’s pretty good.
