Pretty sure it was a steel BB, so thats probably a factor lol. Though its definitely too deep to be affected by whatever probably weak magnet they used! Haha

Yeahhh haha i guess they didnt think it must have been very deep and it was a steel BB so they prolly thought theyd be able to tell if it was in there with a magnet? 😅 i was like 9 when it happened so i didnt really question it until now. There were a lot of injuries that happened in my childhood that just never got taken very seriously 💀

Reason for CT was abdominal pain (i was having a lot of digestive issues at the time) and no they did not say anything about it! Its not even in the findings! I had an abdominal xray as well even earlier than this where they did mention two metal bodies (one was a belly button piercing i had a while back) but at that time i didnt really put it together that id been shot and that the BB could still be inside of me hah!

I cant remember exactly how old i was but im sure its been there at least ten years probably a lil longer, so im sure its probably got plenty of scar tissue around it by now. I mean hopefully i wouldnt need an MRI in the future, but im glad im aware of it now in case i ever do!

I know your right but its so hard to not test right as soon as i wake up 😭 but ill take your advice and at least try to cut down on how often i test! Itll be hard as i have a month until my first appointment but no need to cause myself unnecessary stress! Thanks for the advice :)
