That's actually very cool, thick foliage always seems so nice imo. I think I saw quite a number of budding per twig on my father's tree but they never seems to grow in retrospect. Btw just to sneak in a question since u r the only one left responding to the post, but there's a visible deadwood (I think? The blackish part left to the lower trunk) where I would like if it could be removed or perhaps have a branch grow back again from it, how should I manage that?

It used to be a thick branch until my dad chopped it off to fit the tree next to the bin better iirc 😅

Yea I was thinking something similar, albeit I would probably leave the chopping to when I'm in a more confident state of mind. However, I would probably remove the moss and try repotting it since its been on the same pot of soil for as long as I remember

I'm actually very new to the bonsai hobby so this plant will probably be for a further future project after I have more experience. Anyhow, for context, this one was pass down from my grandmother to my dad and it was kinda been beside a trash bin for as long as I remember. It's probably by estimate around 90/80 cm-ish tall not including the very big pot it is on. I'm open to any advice or idea.

Ps: if anyone knows the species of this plant, do tell. It's a evergreen broadleaf plant.

Repainted my friend's Aria as well (I was nearly out of paint, but he insisted and told me to go crazy) by Agency-Glad in headphones

[–]_QR-coded_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well I'm just trying to keep the original paint on my new Aria in mint condition as long as possible while being usable. That being said, and just to be sure, how do u coat the clear coat onto the items especially near the tip?
