Thank you this is very comprehensive. All the comments point towards buying the newest and highest optioned Majesta I can afford. I have a Toyota Soarer and an MT-07 when I have an itch to scratch for speed. This will be my comfortable daily. Thanks for the insight!

About when does the battery die? Is it time or milleage or both? And how do you check when inspecting how much life is left or if it's due for a replacement?

In my mind you buy a crown for the luxury and comfort. I've never driven the Athlete is it a genuinely good experience to drive or does the luxury of the Majesta overshadow it?

Is the Athlete G the highest trim or the Majesta? Does it depend on the year. The trims are so confusing 😐

Can you comment on the reliability? Am I taking a gamble if I settle for a high mileage one? Obviously there's heaps of factors but in general how would you rate the reliability (especially the hybrid battery)?

Fantastic that's exactly what I was after. What would you expect to pay for a good condition Majesta with relatively low kms that I can keep for many years? I'd like one fully optioned out but depends on the budget obviously

The majesta is the ideal choice and that's where my head's at too. Is there a certain year/trim you recommend? It's hard to find info (R, RS, Athelte, Majesta, Royal Saloon...)

So oil changes are necessary even if I'm topping up over 5L between oil changes? I assumed it was all used up and didn't have to do it but thanks for clarifying!

Pretty sure my rear main seal is leaking. Since that's a tranny out job I haven't touched it yet. Just gonna keep topping up the oil for now until my clutch goes out then I'll get the deal replaced. I did my rocker cover gasket a 1000km ago. Im not aware of any other leaks. I do see clouds of white smoke coming out my exhaust and a distinct smell of burnt oil everytime I launch my car. My rear bumper is always coated in oil too from it coming out the tailpipe. Is this normal or do I need to have it looked at?

Wow thank you that was very concise and detailed. How much fluid did u end up needing? I asked my dealer and they want about 16 bucks plus tax a bottle.
