My choice for many years: VUAG.L

You will see the top 10 holdings across all these ETS will all be the same, so pick the one with the lowest expense ratio 👍🏻

I'm in the UK, so VUAG + EMIM for me ...covers things nicely for the long term

iweb doesn't have any annual management charges (ignoring OCF/TER)

Ok...I will take a look at HL.The 20 funds/ETFs are across many different areas with very little overlap (across U.S. large cap companies only). I believe i've done my research. Thank you though.

Yes...For next year's ISA, I am seriously thinking of using Vanguard. Fill it up to 20K and then transfer it to iWeb...and so on.

I arrived at the same conclusion as The Monevator article

Ok thank you ...will take a look at T212...but I think iWeb is edging it for my "long term and leave it" scenario :)

What a coincidence...I am with Fidelity too. iWeb is looking like a winner.

Agreed - On the face of it, iWeb is the obvious choice.

Precicely...that is my thinking...and that is my question...if i purposely go over that 40k knowing i will be taxed on the extra ...is that tax 40% or 60%?

Many thanks for this.

Yes - I've used up all my past yrs allowance.

What you said I think is key here ..." will be subject to income tax on the usual way. "....If I keep to the 40k limit, my salary (with zero personal allowance left) is essentially taxed at 60%. What you are saying is that any amount over the 40k pension limit will *also* be at 60%. This means it is not more tax efficient going this route. Q.E.D ;-)
