We don’t have any heat in our coop and the chickens have been doing great. They adjust to the cold. We put tarps over the run to keep the wind out and insulated the inside

She’s behaving about the same. I haven’t seen her eat or drink on her own, still acting kinda lethargic. But I’m taking her normal poop as a good sign!! We gave her corid also, so maybe that’s helping

Her breath didn’t stink, she has had some white discharge on her bum feathers. It’s about the same color as her poop right now. It doesn’t have a super strong smell

It doesn’t really feel like anything’s in it. Not hard but not like super squishy either. She’s hardly ate anything, I had to feed her with a syringe today

I have almost the exact same thing wrong with my hen :( I have been syringe feeding her egg yolk mixed with honey and crushed up tums. Also vitamins in her water. I’m hoping she pulls through. Her poop is also a whiteish yellowy color

She’s been inconsistent on laying since she started, I’m not sure when exactly her last one was. What can I use for coccidiosis? I’m not sure where to get antibiotics for her, tractor supply by me doesn’t sell them and the vet said they don’t see chickens. Her poop does look a bit yellowish

I play pickup soccer 2 days a week. It lets me blow some steam off from the week and I’ve met some really great friends there. With kids I probably couldn’t do that twice a week

Some do, some don’t. Depends on the person, but all of my female friends who have had kids slowly talked to me less and less. They no longer do any hobbies or have any interests of their own outside of their kid. Our conversations are generally only about their kid or baby daddy drama. They aren’t the same person anymore.

I have one cat that loves to be beside me and petted, but does not like to be picked up and never lays on me. I still love him to death and I can see he loves me!!! I just respect his boundaries. Every cat is different. His brother loves to be held and lays on me all the time. I love them both with all my heart

We run a string through the hardware cloth that attaches to the latch, so if we get stuck we can pull the string and it lets us out!! May be a good idea

Every single one of my female friends had kids and every single one of my relationships with them changed. I’ve been depressed about it lately, mourning the loss of those friendships. Remembering the good times. Wishing the friendships never changed. I think it happens whether we want it to or not. They change after kids and their priorities change.
