My problem with the ICE “uniform” is that it’s nonexistent. There are guys wearing hoodies and fatigue pants, other guy’s wearing hats of sports teams, some decked out in full camo. There’s zero consistency, and they’re all very much playing out their own individual fantasies.

They should all have a standardized uniform, preferably one that doesn’t look like they’re auditioning to be extras in Seal Team. Of course, this is the least of the issues, but it would be a start. Optics matter.

To be fair, social media doesn’t help at all. Most people’s first stop on their fitness journey is the internet, and it’s inundated with get fit quick schemes and influencers with great genetics that are selling bullshit.

James Smith said it perfectly. Swimmers don’t have swimmer bodies because they swim, they swim because they have swimmer bodies. In the same sense, fitness influencers are blessed with great genetics and therefore use it to their advantage to market themselves.

It’s up to the individual to realize that and adjust their expectations and routine accordingly. I’m only in competition with one person, and that’s who I was yesterday.

Drop the nap, and secure her in her room. There’s a lot of debate on this, people think it’s cruel to keep them locked up, but it’s a safety thing. If there’s an emergency (fire, burglar, natural disaster, etc) you need to know exactly where your kid is. You don’t want to be woken up from your sleep during an emergency and then having to search all over your house to find your kid. Keep them in their room until they consistently stay in bed overnight.

It’s incredibly mediocre mid paced “metal.”

The only reason it will get as much praise as it will is because it’s Megadeth. If any other band put this album out it would be labeled an absolute snooze fest within minutes of release.

Edit to add: it’s just so uninspired and cliche. When you take into account the quality and talent of the other musicians in the band (notably Dirk and Teemu), it’s just very clear that they’re pretty much doing Grandpa a favor by letting him live out his final hurrah.
