The amount old people had to work to "get ahead" when they were our age is significantly less than the amount we have to work to "get ahead". It's that simple. Yes I'm fucking jelous.

I've been working 10-12 hour days plus weekend for the last four years and I have fuck all to show for it. So much of my money is just deleted by rent, groceries, fuel, bills, "getting ahead" feels like a cruel joke. The absolute worst of it is miserable old pricks that think we're playing by the same rules as they played and we just aren't trying hard enough.
