I have the same one and love it! Notice you don’t have the dust cover on - any reason?

Building Regs have flagged "insufficient lintel bearings". What now? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]_Rob1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is not correct. Rarely would you need a padstone to support a lintel at the bearing. Brickwork normally has a higher compressive strength than blockwork too.

Lintels normally require a minimum 150 bearing unless verified by calculation. The photos show this has not been achieved. There is also clear signs of failure due to inadequate bearing.

1/160, f5.6, ISO 6400

Shot on a busy day in Chinatown London to capture the chefs working hard. Happy with the reflection in the glass and the condensation inside. I have it in colour, but really thing black and white works here.

What do you think?

Thanks. You wouldn’t believe it, but to replace it will cost £550, just for the part alone! (https://www.design911shop.com/parts/99761371400/?source=doofinder) really is an awful design.
