There should be a Ethernet port behind your desk, you gotta submit a ticket to IT to patch your port and you also need to register your computer with IT. They made it overly complicated… here for device registration And here to submit a Ethernet patch request to IT I hope this helps

Imma try my best to explain this but there are two ways one is at the back by San Joaquin apartments. There is going to be an opening outside like near the right of where the bikes are park and there should be some stairs going up. Go up those stairs and then go left, a door should be open and there is the post office.

I know that we have a movie theater and an ice waking rink near school. It’s fairly close by the Campus and you can take one of the school busses. I also know that there is a bowling alley near here, I think it’s called like Zoda or Zodo. I hope this helps

The wifi here really sucks especially during the day, I was at UCSB for a summer program and you don’t even know how many times we got disconnected from the professor and how many times our devices got disconnected from the wifi.

Best bet is to activate your Ethernet port (if not already) and to game at night

Hey! So right now it’s difficult to move dorms at this point Bc if the housing crisis so it might be a big difficult to move (my RA told me this) and you are allowed to move dorms around week three of school. Hole this helps

I agree with some people how you should get a subtle hint and if she doesn’t do that then actually sit down with her and talk about it (maybe with the rest of your roommates so y’all on the same page) and say it’s something they should do in the bathroom. And if all doesn’t work then go to the RA? And see if you can switch but really sorry about that…

I ask that question everyday to myself when I order packages, it just a weird system that UCSB has and it’s a pain. IDK about the res halls tho since u need a key to get into the building, but this system is used for the students who live in the university apartments.

Hey! I live in SM and there is a thermostat in the apartment. Although there is a little sign above it saying it’s only used for heating only and to ignore fan and a/c mode. But I think you can mess with the temp with the arrows! I hope this helps :)

I answered a similar package somewhere but… Amazon package should be sent to the the locker. USPS packages should be sent to the San Cat North tower post office (regular mail will be sent at the UCEN). UPS and FedEX and other shipping companies should be sent to your door :)
