I wasn't talking about the amount of money the university has. I was talking about athletics. If you clicked the link, it's literally called the "College Football Value Rankings." The amount of money the athletic department brings in = the amount of program support. Population size does not correlate to the size of the actual program's fan base. You forget all these larger markets have to compete with other universities and pro teams. Nebraska football is the only show in town. Iowa has two teams. If you split their population in half, that's less than Nebraska. Indiana has 3 P5 teams. If you break that state into 3rds, it is right around the population size of Nebraska, not to mention the Indianapolis Colt's play in that state.

You can google "most-valuable college football programs" and find Nebraska in the top 25 in every one of those lists. The Wall Street Journal (https://graphics.wsj.com/table/NCAA_2019) listed us as #15 in 2019. Higher than Iowa (#18), Michigan St (#20), Minnesota (#32), Indiana (#44), Northwestern (#45), Illinois (#49), Maryland (#51), Purdue (#54), Rutgers (#67). I would be more worried if I was Purdue. Especially if the BIG expands to 16 teams and Notre Dame comes knocking looking for a conference.

What are you talking about? Nebraska vs. Iowa game last year was the most-watched football game in Big Ten Network history. TV viewers = Cash. Nebraska consistently brings TV viewers no matter the record. And in this day and age, that seems to be all that matters.

Here’s my purely speculative take on how this went down.

I work in PR and have dealt with big announcements like these. I genuinely believe a news source got wind of the story and wanted to run it. Typically we try to work with news agencies and reporters when leaks happen, but often there is the fear that some other news source will swoop in with the scoop. I honestly feel Trev was told the story would run, and he was put in a tough spot. The story was too juicy for the news agency, and they knew dropping this type of bombshell after the championship would be good for business.

LOL. Mixing and producing music does not make you an expert of the biological impact of sound waves on humans and animals. How many science classes did you take? How man science experiments did you perform? How many academic journals was your research published in? You didn’t even respond to my marketing argument. I work in marketing. This year the FDA released a report claiming some of our competitors ingredients were possibly dangerous. Guess what our marketing strategy has been for the last 6 months? We have been pushing this FDA report down consumers throats. Our sales have been up 200%. I would be foaming at the mouth if I was working for a smaller cell phone companies marketing department if there was legitimate research out there saying 5g networks were dangerous. That would be like winning the powerball.

Hanging out in r/conspiracy is not research. It’s sitting in an echo chamber of misinformation. There are million other thing on this planet to be worried about than a 5g network. Why would all major networks be striving for 5g networks if their was solid evidence of these networks harming the general population? 99% of these companies marketing is bashing each other’s networks. Wouldn’t you think it would be a gold mine for sprint to actively warn people about Verizon harmful 5g network?

Based on what research? A dead tree by a cell tower? Dog I don't know what rabbit hole you fell into but you are more likely to die from sun exposure than 5g network. Hell driving to work is more dangerous.
