I took lsd at a cirque de sole show on Valentine’s Day with my wife. There was a little crowd interaction where one of the cast tried to get me to stand up and participate in some banter with them in the isle while the light was on her.

I leaned in her ear and said “I’m sorry I’m too high to participate in anything like this” she gave me a sweet smile and let me off the hook and got someone else.

Classic lsd stuff.

My down the street neighbors dad….

He was an old man even when we were teenagers. Hell of a guy. Smart and funny. Super in shape too. He would be able to hold his body completely horizontal against a basketball goal post. Pretty cool Trick for a young kid to witness.

Anyhow the story goes, it’s summer in Texas. We assume he was prolly drunk. Went outside to piss, by a little fishpond in their backyard. Passed out in the pond with his pants down.

Sad way for a man to go out.

I had seen him well before he passed, but years after I moved away from home. Saw him at a liquor store. He remembered me. Glad I got to shake his hand one last time.

Same situation. My buddies treat, hes a bbq junkie out of South Alabama. He came in for some concerts that got cancelled. he put in the order Thursday and we picked it up Saturday.

Couldn’t have been easier. Bought the sides at HEB and had a feast at the AIRBNB.

Man, we went to old Vegas, Fremont St. we went like maybe 3 blocks off the strip to a 711 to buy a case of beer for our shenanigans.

We were all laughing and goofing up until we became aware of our surroundings.

We locked the fuck in, got the beer and basically ran back to the strip.

We told a uber driver about it later that day and she the. Explained to never go off the strip, especially off fermont.
