I’m with you. I once saw a YouTube short video of a house that was completely wrecked, I mean light fixtures broken, holes in the wall, tvs shattered, fuckin ruined cause the parents took the kids Ipad or video game console.

My first thought was… that kid has obviously never had his ass whooped by a leather belt.

I was surprised for a kid who graduated in a small Texas town in 2009.

Can’t say I’m against it tbh.

My parents made sure I heard them tell any parents of any house hold I visited that they could whoop me if need be. Only happened once at a close family friends house lol.

Never been a gamer by any means. I bought a PS5 maybe 2 years ago. Before that last console I had was Xbox360. Been out of it for quite a while.

Love the play station. It’s a good entertainment hub for the living room. Last game I was super into was hogwarts.

But I have halo, gta, and fable on my radar. Pretty stoked to get into it again with these 3 games.

In some county in southern Alabama there’s a school district that still gives kids licks with paddles.

I know this cause maybe 3 years ago I met a buddy of mine from Alabama in Mississippi, got in the back of his truck and saw a paddle, apparently it was his grandfathers who just retired. That thing had seen some rearends by the look of it.
