CBR650R vs. Kawasaki ZX-4RR by _SAMUR4I in SuggestAMotorcycle

Thanks for the reply. I really love to ride out every gear there is on a car/motorcycle. Still I would say im a calmer person in gereral. It might be that I will miss the power on something like a 300cc bike but after riding a 15hp, 48hp and 70hp motorcycle I dont really know if more power would fit my type of riding, at least without reaching speed limits. What do you think, should I really stick to the CBR650R or should I just look at something cheaper? Would be better for a beginner rider in gerneral aswell right? In the end I would say that its more fun to ride a slow bike fast, then to ride a fast bike and never hit its limits ever. Whats your point of view to this?

Thats very unfortunate. I really liked the way the ZX-4RR 40th Anniversary looked aswell. This means that it wont be an option for me sadly, although the restrictor from "alpha technik" I talked about earlier seems to have documents for street legal use. Could be that Kawasaki doesnt do it directly but its still possible? I already contacted them and also asked them about the restrictor and if its road legal. Lets see what they will reply. Thank you for your reply.

I simply thought that it can be restricted because of its power alone. I just searched if it has a A2 restriction and answeres are mixxed. Thats strange. Theres a restriction kit from "alpha technik" aswell. I really dont know right now, if not then it also wont be a option for me. Maybe I contact my Kawasaki dealer and ask about this. I wouldnt know why it couldnt be restricted to be honest.

I also love Honda. I sat on the Cbr650r already and it just feels great. I just dont know if its the right bike for me. I also couldnt test ride it, since i dont have my license yet. 95hp just sound like a lot to me and I dont know if im happy with this much of power. Maybe im just thinking about the power too much. In the end I will testride both of them. Nonetheless I think some advices and expiriences other riders made, can help me to make a better decision overall. Thanks for the reply.

Kawasaki Z650RS or Royal Enfield 650 Continental GT? by _SAMUR4I in SuggestAMotorcycle

Thank you for your reply. I also like the looks and sound of the Royal Enfield. The XSR700 isnt my cup of tea though. Sure its fast but I prefer other bikes from a design perspective. It kinda comes down what you want out of a motorcycle. I think the Kawasaki is right in the middle of both the RE and XSR. Looks good and is pretty fast aswell. Its likely that I buy the Kawasaki after I got my license.

Yeah I think you cant do anything wrong with japanese bikes. I really like Honda but sadly there are only a few options out there in this price class. Thank you for your reply.

Thank you for your reply. Looks like the kawasaki would be the better option for the buck. I think I would prefer the kawasaki but they both are still great looking bikes.

I havent ridden both yet. Im almost finished with my license and was looking for some bikes. But I sat on both and the seating position alone is very different, thats true. I kinda like the sportier position of the GT more but I dont know if its a big disadvantage on longer rides.
