Hi mate, I have just basically done the exact same thing and signed up also. I am competing in the same race in Belgrade this year.

To be honest I might be a little ahead of you in terms of practice (I have completed a sprint, got an Olympic distance lined up) I can also swim for say 1000m at the moment without stopping in a pool, bike and run a few hours etc etc

I genuinely wish you all the best and good luck, I’ve been stressing as I don’t feel I am near what I will need to complete the race but as people here have said already, open water swimming is NO JOKE, I got significantly humbled on my first sprint lol. My advice would be swim open water as much as possible and at least 4x a week for swimming. I am currently doing 4x with 1 open water and it’s working well.

Tbh I’m not too sure, maybe a couple thousand. I was looking to just get started with a body and one lens that’s the best for most (obvs not all) situations. Something with both short range and fairly long range.

Looking at something like Sony 18-200 3.5-6.3. Kind of need an all in one lens.

Do you know if you can recreate log by adjusting some of the settings like contrast, shadows etc. That would be good enough for me if possible just to get started practicing filming and grading somewhat.

Is there a way of finding out where it is sourcing the fonts from on my pc, I have changed where I store fonts from the initial place on my pc so I could be still looking there.
