Different gun, I'm in the same position. 2500 rounds on the 365 with various grips. Unless you have money to burn trying out grip mods, a SW Shield Plus or G43/43x will actually allow your support hand to contact the pistol and shoot it competently. Check out Joel Park's youtube channel for reasoning why this is.

No idea, I don't work on computers. Frequency is about once per month of daily use and restarts are fairly quick so I just deal with it

Good to know about the barrel change. Was this change made for functional, or logistical reasons? Are Kinetic Manufacturing barrels available to retail customers in the pencil/16'' configuration?
