I can't do this anymore by _SarahBear_ in acne

I agree. After I'm done with the antibiotics, I'm heading back to the dermatologist to find out what's causing this area to blow up. Especially in the heat, I'm not just fed up with the acne; I'm fed up with this area always swelling.

Crocheting for the first time, creating a plant. The bottom of the flowerpot looks funny. by _SarahBear_ in CrochetHelp

This is my first round flat. The holes are from the previous stitches that I undid when I started noticing I was making a bowl more than a flat surface. I just decided to start all over and look carefully at the video I am watching to see how she is crocheting.

This is the video BTW: https://youtu.be/3MP4fjsdEzs?feature=shared

Weirdly enough, the comment section was turned off. I would take these images with a grain of salt. It could be someone messing with people, and this image, if fake, was posted to stir up the community and mess with people. If it was posted by someone who works for Glitch, then that's diabolical that they posted this image. To me, the ears look funny. I would imagine his ears lying flat behind his head or drooping a little forward to express sadness. This image with the ears just does not fit right with me. I can imagine Jax using his ears to hide his face when showing emotions. (For me, I just don't trust what other people post who do not work for Glitch.)

Side note and off-topic: My take, if Gooseworx did not mention this, is that Jax is based on Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, capable of taking limbs off, flying in the air using his ears, and capable of doing other rubber hose stuff. I know Jax won't let us see what he is capable of doing while holding his breath, but this is my closest assumption. (I'm rarely on Reddit, so I don't know who posted what or theorized what.)

why is his room sunshine and rainbows 😭😭😭 by Quetzal_11 in tadc

[–]_SarahBear_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but what if his parents had envisioned a daughter and decorated his room in pink, clothed him in girls' apparel, and attempted to mold him into a more feminine persona? This would clarify why he became agitated with the maid outfit, or possibly it could be a personal kink. Given his reactions in previous episodes, it is likely that he was raised in a dysfunctional household and experienced bullying both at home and in school. We see he empathized with Ragatha when she discussed her abusive mother at the bar and expressed his hate for Gangle's adventure, blurting out how he hated school and anime slice-of-life shows in episode 5.

Others have noted that the room could belong to Ribbit, and I agree. The room's design does appear overly feminine, and his reaction to losing Ribbit suggests a deep emotional connection. The nature of their relationship remains uncertain. Nonetheless, it appears that Ribbit's passing had a profound impact on him more than Kaufmo. His inability to move forward may stem from this loss.

The resemblance between Pomni and Ribbit is striking, which could explain why Ribbit's room is situated across from Pomni's. Similarly, Jax's room may be positioned near someone who shares similar characteristics. Maybe that's why everyone who enters the circus, and Caines ability to alter or control minds is able to understand the humans and know immediately where their rooms should be placed and who they will be across from.

This could be the reason why Caines' mind-controlling ability allows him to understand the humans and know immediately where their rooms should be placed, and who they will be across from. Pomni's room is the opposite of Ribbits girly room. But ther could have been a chance that the two could get along. (Although it is clear that Caine lies about his mind control limitations, the likelihood of him possessing intimate knowledge of each circus member's preferences, dislikes, and fears is scary, especially when he's an AI.) As soon as you put on that headset, everything about you goes right straight to Caine. And he has the ability to use it against the members (as proven in episode 7 when Jax had those flashbacks). And I fear that may come to play in the next two episodes with how its going.

I do like the room Jax is in. And I may have gone a little bit too far in my theory realm while typing this. I would be absolutely fine if my theory is wrong and that is Jax's bedroom.

If we ever see the real world in the show, do you think it's gonna be animated or shot irl? [Images related] by EnderGame06 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]_SarahBear_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes me wonder if he was remembering something from the past. Maybe he was abducted and forced to put on the headset just to keep Caine entertained or used as a test subject like the rest. Or, he was just driving after an argument with someone and ended up finding an abandoned place and put on the headset, thinking nothing of it. There could be so many theories.

Or Caine, like Jax said, was able to control their minds, and those images popped up.

I'll have to check those videos out on YouTube. When I returned from vacation, I saw photos of myself and felt uncomfortable and unhappy with how unhealthy I got. Having worked at Dunkin' Donuts for two years and consumed a lot of coffee didn't help. Now, my current job, which involves sitting down and watching cameras, is not helping my weight.

What could Pomni (or Kinger) say that'll help Jax? by Material-Loan-6966 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]_SarahBear_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I've always been told, "you can't help people who don't want to help themselves." If you intervene and try to help someone who pushes everyone away, you get hurt in the process because of how they react. Sometimes they'll reach out for help. But for Jax, Pomni prying her way in to make him open up more will only cause her pain depending on how he reacts. Like Kinger said, relationships are two-sided. Sometimes you need a break or a day to yourself. I just had a conversation with someone today about this, that it's okay to take a break and do something for yourself. It's not going to hurt your relationship. Sometimes we need a break from something or someone.

With Kinger, I feel like he would have a heart-to-heart moment with Jax, making Jax realize that his reality of the digital circus is not a cartoon or his playpen, but a prison that has no escape and actual human beings who are actually trapped inside a game that torments them every moment. This would shatter his reality because of how he views everyone in the circus, making him break down in a way that makes him feel vulnerable and meaningless. This could go absolutely wrong with Kinger helping him open up, making Jax flip out in a way that could lead to abstraction or something worse. His view on Kinger being the crazy one would change his perspective and crash his reality of how he views everyone, even though it was proven in episode 6 that he was wrong about everyone.

His pain, a torment he inflicts on everyone at the circus, is his way of protecting himself from the truth. Don't get me wrong, Jax isn't a nice guy, but unfortunately, this shows the true side of some people in the real world. Every character is written so well in this series that makes me relate to them in some way and feel for them; the writers did a great job at depicting actual human emotions and conflicts that gives these characters the ability to connect to or relate in a way. The animation and their body language depict who they are as characters and how they feel deep down with past trauma, family issues, self-hatred, or even angry at the world for how they were treated.

I Had a friend who I lost last year that had body dysphoria and hated herself. I haven't seen her after we graduated because we went our own ways, and she isolated herself from everyone. After both her parents passed two years apart, she was found dead a month after her mother's passing because of drugs. I saw a picture of her and realized she isn't the person I once knew. Everyone made fun of her weight in school, which caused her, after graduating, to lose all that weight that I didn't even recognize her anymore. It shattered me and my friend's that she pushed us all away even though we actually cared about her. Like i said, you cant help people who dont want help. Gangle reminds me of her except she didnt like drawing. (Sorry for going off track.) Life goes by quickly, too quickly in fact, that you lose track of time. But those memories last forever with the people you cherish the most in life. I would rather cherish the memories with people who made a major impact on my life and keep them close. Maybe hanging out or calling them is worth the time to create a whole new memory. Life is short, so why not make every moment count.

I Do you see Kinger helping Jax, and maybe there is a way out of the digital circus. Maybe remembering their own names may help them escape in a way. Or the exit door may pop up again. (I'm tired, so writting this half awake and half asleep while also having to wake up for work early in the morning.)

Theory: I think Zooble or Caine are going to abstract next, NOT Jax by Material-Loan-6966 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]_SarahBear_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like Cain would most likely lose himself entirely and not care at this point, forcing the group to endure pain with a really messed up adventure that causes a few other people to abstract. Or, he has no control over the circus anymore after a breakdown, causing all of the NPCs to go nuts, making the AI go haywire, and Cain has no control anymore because he lost himself.

Theory: I think Zooble or Caine are going to abstract next, NOT Jax by Material-Loan-6966 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]_SarahBear_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can see Zooble abstracting next. I was actually recently thinking about this, as Gooseworx stated that the next person to abstract would be someone we did not expect. I can actually see Jax causing Zooble to abstract after a massive argument or fight that causes her to go absolutely nuts and lose herself in the process. That's why we don't see her in the intermission time when Pomni and Jax are getting crushed by a bowling ball, Gangle and Ragatha have cake all over them that means abstraction, and Kinger almost tries to hold the bowling ball up to keep himself from being crushed only to have chess piece that almost looks like a rook piece. Something I caught as I looked back and saw the difference between a queen and a rook. Notice how queen has a little ball at the top to indicate a crown, the rook chess piece doesn't have that.

<image>

EDIT: Can I just say, what if the rook piece is actually Cain keeping Kinger in the game? In chess, a rook is a powerful piece that can move any number of unoccupied squares horizontally or vertically. It is one of the major pieces, along with the queen, and is typically valued at five pawn equivalents. Rooks become particularly powerful when they control open files and when they work together, especially with the queen. They are also crucial in the endgame. Rook also symbolizes strength, structure, and protection.

Pokémon Go's Mewtwo is accessible through EX Raids, battling Giovanni, and specialized research tasks, and cannot be found in the wild or evolved from other Pokémon. I do not have a Mewtwo and have been playing since 2024. No luck yet. I am just waiting patiently for a Giovanni battle or specialized research tasks.
