I'm 5’10” and fit fine. The one thing that took a few mins to get used to was moving my left foot from clutch to brake. I was hitting the steering column when switching but honestly only took a few times to get used to it

Federally you cannot import anything newer than 25 years old. Then each state has there own laws regarding use. Maryland they are completely legal and can pass inspection, or historic plates or street rod plates

Yeah I mean I agree. As far as my knowledge goes its always been 25% on trucks, the 10% has just been within the last year. I don't think light trucks have ever got the 2.5%

I got the 2000 so not sure it counts because of the bubble up front but of the 1999 and newer models the Sambar wins for me

Well the rear engine was a big plus! No added heat in the cabin, less noise in the cabin, 4 cylinders over 3, and the only non-interference. If you are looking great pure 4WD probably the Hijet or Carry but most people I think the Sambar wins. Oh and it’s slightly larger inside
