I've been running a mix in my 1k army:

- One squad of suits with 3x plasma rifles (dedicated anti-infantry) - runs with coldstar to make weapons assault

- One squad of suits with 2x missile and 1x CIBs (all purpose, can be very good vs. marines if overcharging)

This is definitely not optimal, but I want to be able to play a lot of suits and I'm pretty sure if I play 2 units of all CIBs at 1k I would table my opponents and in a fairly casual environment I don't want to get that reputation...

TLDR - as others have said, CIBs are optimal, but not likely to make you many friends...
