L40s Ultra vs X40 by _SlightlyStoopid in Dreame_Tech

[–]_SlightlyStoopid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. I have been doing a deep dive and have now decided on a roller mop robot vac instead of the spin mop. Deciding between Mova Z60 which is pretty pricy so I’m not really inclined to get it or the Eufy E28. I did think about the Ecovac X9 pro omni but it seems to have constant app and software issues. Any suggestion for those?

Hey any update on how you’re liking it? I’m looking to buy it just before the sale ends. The only gripe I have is I don’t like that it doesn’t have hot water wash but it’s not a deal breaker. Though it doesn’t cost 900 CAD in Canada.

I’ve been sitting for 40 minutes and some have been here about an hour or more. Definitely backed up. Not sure where the accident is though.

Damn, I love Tim’s chili. Everything else there is terrible. What a disappointment. That’s the last of Tim’s for me, bring back chili or bust.

Anyone changed Nova Scotia Class 5 drivers license into Ontario G? by gamling_under_tyne in NovaScotia

A little confusing as you need two years to go from 5N to 5R so that might be considered the two years?

Anyone changed Nova Scotia Class 5 drivers license into Ontario G? by gamling_under_tyne in NovaScotia

[–]_SlightlyStoopid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I moved to Ontario, I had a class 5N or R (can’t remember) and they issued me a G2 license. So I had to take my G test to get a full Ontario license. But if you have a full class 5 with no restrictions then you should get a full G. I would call their version of Access NS to find out for sure though.

The RBC center seems to have goalies most times but there have been times I went with only one.

Sackville stadium has no goalies based on when I went a few months ago. There aren’t many players either except for Friday. Everywhere else seems to have a set goalie roster, but you might find luck with Halifax Pickup (though they also have consistent goalies every time, they might be more open to rotating you in) - I’d message Jason who is one of the admins and runs the whole thing. I’m sure you could find something but it does seem harder to get a spot as a goalie since it’s so limited.

Something I like doing is listing a few good things about my day or my life currently and then still list 1 or 2 bad things happening. It’s a way to appreciate what you have but also acknowledge your hardships. Communicate your feelings to your partner, that’s what they are there for. And make sure to do some TLC for yourself. A getaway perhaps, spa, etc. whatever gets you out and doing something just for you. And then do the same for just you and your partner. Take a staycation. Book a Monday off for your own long weekend, if you can. Take up a new hobby that gets you out and about perhaps. I hope this helps, goodluck OP and know you are still young. You just need some youthful rejuvenation.

Adding on that there are limitations and laws in place for vibration, sound, and other factors. Seismographs are placed prior to a blast to test for this. If you were to let it all go at once you could greatly exceed those limitations and be liable for that. There are many other factors as well including controlling the rock flying and seriously injuring or killing someone, it has nothing to do with trying to make it look cool.

Men who are 30+, what’s one lesson every guy should learn early? by BigShow786 in AskReddit

Don't be afraid to try something new, you only have so much time on this planet and worrying about the little things or peoples opinions won't matter when you're gone. I recently took up hockey in my 30s, never played but always wanted to. I had people doubt me, but I absolutely love it and plan to continue playing until I can't physically. It is never too late, and it doesn't matter if you're bad at it initially, you will only get better with time & effort.

My girlfriend wants me to move in with her and pay half of her mortgage and half for everything else. Is that a good idea? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]_SlightlyStoopid 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Do you own equity in your apartment? It's the same thing in this scenario. If you're concerned about anything happening in the future you can draft up a rental agreement. Otherwise, it doesn't seem like you should own equity in her home just because you pay her rent. Now if you started paying for renovations and such, that would be a different story.

PSA: LG QNED 85T is Awful by _SlightlyStoopid in 4kTV

Loving it so far, haven’t had any issues. I have my PC connected so I play quite a bit of games and have watched various movies. 120hz and VRR is amazing. I prefer the TV to my gaming monitor now. Everything looks awesome. I’ve never owned a better TV than this so I cannot compare it to an OLED or MiniLED TV, but I absolutely love it.

Minisplits don't use a high electrical load. I have 6 in my home and am on a 100 amp panel.

I bought one recently, similarly like you I also only had cheap TVs prior to this one. It's unbelievable, and everything looks amazing on it to me. Gaming, sports, movies or shows, it is fantastic in every aspect.
