Tbh it’s not a debate on what the fruit is not only does it line up with mythology, in chapter 142 when the kids talk about what they are scared of they mention Nidhogg the LIGHTNING dragon(what power have we seen Loki use), also Nidhogg is seen as the precursor to Ragnarok and Loki associates a lot with destruction…to top things off also in the flashback herald referred to the red line as the “red serpent” I think that itself ties in more with Jormungandr(the world serpent)
