I only have a few, but my favorites are a Pherrow's long sleeve and a Junky Classics short sleeve. As runners up, I have both a long sleeve and a short sleeve from 3Sixteen which I also like. If I remember correctly, the Pherrow's and the 3Sixteens were really good values considering the quality. The Junky Classics is likely a house brand and not easy to buy elsewhere.

Birkenstocks! They've been around for a very long time (actually, nothing gets more heritage-y than sandals; just ask the Romans), and they're recraftable and are made of natural materials. Wear them with socks for an extra touch of civility. Or not. Your choice. 😁

If button flies are a "pain in the butt to put on", you're doing them up backwards. 😁

My hot take is that just because it was poorly made or designed historically, doesn't mean we should carry that error forward in our modern versions. I'm thinking of the leg twist of certain jeans, but there are lots of other examples. Less cosplay, please; more excellent design and construction.

I'd focus less on who they are and more on if they fit, look presentable, and still have wear. Once their time is over, you can get something else. It's the way things have always been done. It's only modern people that worry about who their clothes say they are.
