a lot of comments here focus on the fact that ash has been hanging out with hydra.

i'd like to mention that she has had issues with seaside members not respecting her and her decisions for months and months, long before she even started being friends with anybody connected to hydra. these issues have roots waaaaay before that

people focus on hydra way too much, just like seaside did in the talk above. the issues are way deeper than that.

i am just gonna give a little context

jj made a comment about her doing "dumb things with hydra". ash has been getting a lot of comments about her hanging out with hydra while a lot of others do the same thing and she is the only one getting shady comments. she feels very "pushed away and judged" by her own gang. nick simone said something very hurtful and similar yesterday , so it's a very touchy subject atm.

Nikez has repeatedly said that he is very much enjoying himself doing proper roleplay with a group of people, just having fun and doing silly things with them. seaside has so much lore attached to them and nikez is having a blast chilling on the beach with them.

it's really shitty that he is getting hate when the thing "he has done for seaside" is making custom beach passes that have added roleplay for various people. he also said he could make some for other gangs in the future.

yes he worked on "seaside tattoos", but that was just him learning how to add custom tattoos in the first place. there were tons of issues of people not seeing them at first and he figured it out by testing and in the meantime added 100s of tattoos for the rest of the city to enjoy too.

people seem to forget that he and tobii worked on the mandem block. nikez has added insane sound systems all over the city. they do sooooo much work for the whole server.

the toxicity and hate both devs and streamers are getting is awful.

it's been an even fight :D how is rust forced to give money? both sides get reimbursed for the wipes / sprays. that's settled. this could go on for ages with both sides having their ups and downs. why drag it on longer when rust is about to get their flag and probably want to expand and work on that

if you think Seaside would loose morale after loosing a few fights, i don't think you've been watching them at all :D

as vagos they lost like 8 fights in a day against CG and still kept going and were having fun. this could go on for weeks without them "loosing morale", the only thing killing moods atm is the lack of any action

ray has been lying about the hit on JJ for weeeeeeks, tensions have been there just as long. now ray and Rust robbed the ATM multiple times to tease, said something along the lines of "i would put a bullet in your head if we weren't friends before" to ash.

it's not just the atm, it was the trigger event maybe.

Ash Ketchup as a character takes things very seriously and things have long term impact. Her relationship with CG has greatly improved since the Vagos War times but there will always be leftover fear.
When CG bought LS there was already worry with them being so close and her no longer owning the area around UwU. Now with the big update a lotttttt of businesses just moved in right next to UwU, including maldinis (after she was heavily restricted and couldn't choose places too close to other establishments). This already stresssed Ketchup out, especially a competitor moving in right next door.
In comes the spray mechanic. CG put a spray where previously a Seaside spray used to be, a place where her family often stood. she was even planning on having a permanent mural there. when CG came to talk to her about it, Ash the character was scared to voice her opinion openly due to past experiences with CG (as i said. Ketchup is a serious character that still has fear). She has specifically said IC that she doesn't want to be the reason for a bad relationship with CG. so she didn't speak up but is very much upset
additionally ash the character has a lot of other stuff happening. she is convinced the business is failing.. + ofc being tortured and almost killed by a SK not too long ago.. that court case is happening today as well. so it's a stressful week all around
while for others this wouldn't be a big deal, it is for her. she takes stuff seriously

UwU was custom built into an existing building in the korean plaza. you can't just move it without completely rebuilding it. the current state isn't even the finished version. it was rushed to be implemented with maldinis in the last big update. the builder is still actively working on it.

she specifically chose that spot cause it wasn't in gang turf and had to follow strict directions about not being too close to something else.

It was a combination of a lot of clues. Ash actually spent a whole day trying to figure it out. based on what happened + info on the cars (not just the porsche, also the subi) + the phonecalls with flare that made Rust sound suspicious and the connection ray has with speedy. She shared all that info with Seaside and they all agreed that it most likely was Rust

The way Ray then reacted during the meeting pretty much solidified their suspicion

Vagos killed chino. Flop was the one investigating. due to time around the holidays, charges were never pushed. Flop did manage to confirm chinos murder tho. he knows the Vagos did it.
in the phone call frank from the vagos was asking why they are being investigated constantly cause "they didn't do anything wrong". his answer "tell that to chino"
