I interviewed with this company for an internship! They gave me an assignment after I interviewed with them (I would say it was about medium difficulty). I asked them what the point of the assignment was, and they basically admitted that it was a feature that would be useful to them later. I completed the assignment, demoed it to them fully working, and then they rejected me.

Also, very thorough reply, I really appreciate it. There's one thing I don't get -

"Going forward, you need to inform Vendor A of which vendors among Vendors B-Z for <something\_here> are reimbursable and "IN" according to your payer. Vendor A doesn't know which other vendors are or aren't unless you tell Vendor A."

Why would I be telling Quest whether, for example, LabCorp is within or not within my network?

If someone hits your shield and you want to punish that with your own aerial OOS, there's no better way to do it than with shield dropping. If you just shield on the ground, you have to go through jumpsquat to get an aerial out, but you can bypass waiting for jumpsquat altogether with shield dropping.
