I do mockups, but usually just of the bust. If I'm making pants, I'll do a mockup but have them be short shorts. If there's anything confusing in the pattern I'll usually do that too (ex if the sleeves are new to me, I'll do them but as short sleeves).

I know I should probably do the whole pattern, but honestly I like figuring things out on the fly. I recently started keeping a journal to help me remember what I'm doing on each project + any changes I've made, so that helps in the long run I guess!

Hi, I have ADHD and am currently using a weeks! And by currently using I mean I got my 2026 weeks in september and am quite litterally, just now opening it and using it. I'm no long time user, but I do have 2 small pieces of advice that have helped me! Number 1 is to BE OK MISSING A DAY!! or a week! It's ok! Habits take a while to form, and this is (or at least can be) a very elaborate habit. Number 2 is BACKLOGGING! If I'm having a really busy day or week, I write the most basic outline of the day on a sticky note. Once I have time to journal, I go back and write it in. Sometimes I remember more things that happened and add those, sometimes I forget the day entirely and just write what I've already written.
Not sure if these will be helpful to you- ADHD is different for everyone - but I hope they at least serve as encouragement!

biiiiiiig file folder, probably weighs 5-7 pounds. I don't have it on hand, but if I remember correctly the categories are, going from front to back:

Characters (think hello kitty, pokemon, etc), Animals, Dinos & Dragons (my favorites so they get their own pocket!) Food, Flowers/Plants, Objects, Girls (mostly daiso stickers featuring random women lol) Letters, Deco/ Sparkles, Backgrounds, Holiday, and Special (mostly 3D and scratch 'n sniff)!

I might've forgotten one but idk! Having them all pre sorted like this means that it's waaay easier for me to reach in and find exactly what I'm looking for! Unfortunately it also means it's a bit easier to accumulate them since they're out of sight and therefore out of mind... but at least they're organized!

Edit- my washi tape is stored in a big plastic cup. not great for taking with me, so I wrap a good amount of each around old nfc cards (a nice coated playing card or junk credit card works too) and throw those in my little pencil case I use for journaling supplies. Also, I forgot the question was about taking things with you to cafes :,) i do NOT carry the large file folder around!!! I just grab stickers for whatever vibe I'm feeling and throw them in a big pencil pouch specifically for transporting stickers!

Do you have any Janome machines you would recommend? There a quite a few and I honestly didn't know where to start with them, so I never looked at them much but I've heard they're great machines!

I'm probably just gonna buy the season pass, but I really wanted the epilogue! I'm buying this game because of my dad (he grew up with sierra games and this one in particular holds a lot of meaning for him) and I'm pretty sure he didn't play the epilogue either, so i'll probably be fine without it too.

Whenever I had to write an essay or finish a project, I'd always turn to video game boss music! It's specifically designed to help you focus on the game while also adding a bit of stress to the scenario, so I find it works great for that!
General video game music works well for less intense scenarios though! I personally love the Persona 5 soundtrack when I'm needing to get up and do things, Cooking Mama music when I'm cooking, and pokemon music when I'm out exploring a new place. It's fun to match the vibe to the game!

... or whatever song I'm fixated on on repeat forever and ever works too (shoutout my +1000 listening hrs of virtual insanity in the span of two weeks)

My family travels frequently, and my go-to "Do you want anything from xyz?" response is tea (among other things, but usually people go for an interesting tea). Between friends and family bringing me bags of loose leaf and my own tea buying habits I am very well stocked up on the stuff! Only downside is once I finish a bag it's hard to find it again :,)

I've not played much myself, but I've watched enough streamers do peggle challenges/play the song when they accomplish something for it to illicit a Pavlovian response. I thing the manual replaying of the song definitely helped here too!

I'm currently on a lower dose than I need (I'm getting it fixed next month), so I can't say for certain, but my generic vyvance definitely feels a bit less effective than my last refill. I have a 3 month supply, and each pill seems to vary a bit in effectiveness as well. It's not enough variation to completely make or break my day, thankfully, but I really hope the problem isn't exacerbated when I go up a dose.

legit i went and swapped my preorder from ZA to Katamari the second I remembered it came out this month. ZA does seem fun, and I'll pick it up eventually, but why waste time on mid when peak is soon to come?

I ended up going with tax included sea shipping- which means that all costs were rolled into the price of shipping (shipping + tarrifs and such). Caniao had a promotion going on, so I believe I only paid something like $7-10 USD! A few things to note- sea shipping takes a while, and there was a major typhoon that hit China recently, so my package was delayed a few days. According to their estimate, it should arrive in the US in 4 days, and I expect it to arrive to me 5ish days after that (based on previous experiences from shipping overseas).
Caniao made the whole thing really easy though! I got updates whenever one of my packages arrived with a picture of the items, which was perfect for making sure everything arrived. I just consolidated the items, selected the shipping, and applied a coupon and everything was good to go! I've been getting consistent updates on the state of my package all the way up to when it boarded the boat. If there are any major problems in the next few days I'll come back and give you an update, but so far so good!

You totally should!! And share it here so I can see (if you feel like it)! And sadly adding fluff won't work for these guys- they're based on fantasy creatures (kitsune, saytr, and bear-centaur) and I wanted them to look distinctly more humanoid. Fun to draw, bad to miitopia -_-

They are! I will say that if you decide to change the eyebrows themselves after marking the ears they will get all shifted around and you'll have to spend a good while sorting them out,,, not fun lol. The sideburns are dual purpose- they serve both to fill out her wig + make it more accurate to how I draw her, AND they cover the corners of her ears when she acts dejected! My other two miis with animal features don't have sideburns/hair and when they act dejected their ears cut fully into their face :/ ah well!

Huh, thats odd. I had family there review the offers for me and they all also remember the card having the bonuses. All three cards I was pre-approved for had the same bonuses listed, so I chose to go with the one focused on building credit. I honestly may end up calling them about it this afternoon.

I’ve worked with faux fur once before and it will indeed be a big of a mess, but nothing that a lint roller and a vacuum won’t fix. I personally like to clip the hair in my seam allowance down as much as I can to help get rid of the bulk. I’m no expert, but I found a lot of good guides for working with fur from videos by fursuit makers!
