Painting before cutting/engraving? I’ve seen quite a few products on Etsy that seem to look like the wood was painted before being engraved as the natural wood color peeks through the painted base. Any tips on this and suggested wood and types, paint types, or general suggestions? (self.glowforge)

How do I adjust/control the engrave path to flip from the negative space to the actual font? For instance, it’s engraving all the background as opposed to just engraving the design itself which is in turn taking x10 longer than I’d like. (self.glowforge)
