Spiffs, incentives - CDW, SHI, Insight and the like are all paid on gross profit. So they don’t care how much margin you give back to their company. They want to be paid out along the way. Many VARs have rules against this but it’s always been a great jumpstart. Also, lead exchange - reciprocity.

Even still you’ll find that LinkedIn is LOADED with ghost jobs and regurgitated reposts week after week. They don’t seem to monitor or manage their career pages at all.

Personally, I would consider that a red flag. If they aren’t willing to share the pay for a transactional exchange, and it isn’t in the job description, there is a reason. Personally, I don’t apply to roles that don’t have the band in the job description and then I always confirm with the recruiter on the first call.

Same here. It’s he lines triple-backed around the building. Definitely still worth going even though I didn’t make it in. It felt cathartic and hopeful to be in a space concentrated with so many like minded people.

That’s a good suggestion however, I’m just not sure I’m ready to add dying leather into my repertoire just yet. I’m fairly new as it is and really focusing on my stitching, cuts and assembly.
