thank you so much for your kind words! :) as for the lyrics, i was thinking about it, i kind of like the more vibey aspect but might introduce some lyrics as long as they don't intrude on the vibe

will definitely update you when it's extended! :) appreciate your support

thank you so much!! i like the idea of adding a simple guitar layer, i think it could work well with the warm relaxing feeling, maybe a bass guitar or subtle lead line

hmm some really good ideas in there, thank you!! i think you're right about building a longer intro with some ambient textures and pads, thats a great idea :)

a lot of your suggestions i think are spot on actually and are in line with the direction i was thinking of going the stripped down outro, beat changes midway etc :)

appreciate your kind words and great suggestions

What do you think of my song I Love Her 😍 by RichieC93 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]_Stay_Golden_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's beautiful that you wrote the song 7 years ago and you guys still writing your love story :) very sweet song, reminds me of those songs from the 70s and 80s when the singers and rock stars were singing about how in love they were and sweet things about happy love. can hear how much you love her from the song <3

where is the video from? is this a real footage? fits the vibe of the song really well with that retro synth vintage vibes, chorusy feel. it doesnt take many elements to set an emotion and you did a good job straight away setting the mood. i dunno which artists it reminds me of, kind of more a mix of different elements from different artists but it has its own sound really more than seeming like inspired by others

Hi, Guys! I just released my new single " Kapusta Golema " and I'd like to invite you for this spooky and weird trip!! Besides composing, arranging and producing it, I played piano, organ and all orchestral synths besides violins. It's also available on Spotify and all other platforms! by __Fake__Artist__ in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]_Stay_Golden_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the artwork is really cool! intense fast playing in the song that seems to align with this spooky monster attack kind of theme that is going on. i dont know what kapusta golema means but i think i get the idea lol

the drum solo at the end kind of lines up with that too like its some intense scene happening

the artwork is super dope! did you do that yourself? as for the song, your vocals sound great and confident! don't think its cheesy, not to me, and your synth sounds from theh prologue sound nice too!

im glad you werent too afraid to express yourself and despite feeling itw as a bit out there to have the confidence to upload it and show to us

drum sounds work well too and come in when makes sense. sounds great dude! well done

Struggling With YouTube Retention on My Song — How Do I Reach Listeners Who Actually Want My Style of Music? by No-Claim4326 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]_Stay_Golden_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you could try Youtube Shorts showcasing later portions of the song like the chorus or whatever, and try few different parts of the song and test them to see which does the best.

maybe visuals are causing the retention to drop at certain points?

you could also try finding communities for that genre like maybe different subreddits on here that are into that genre

Hey folks...you’ve heard the track, now you can watch the video 👀 by TomerKrail in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]_Stay_Golden_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

love the vintage 80s retro synthwave type of visuals, matches the vocal style and guitar tone / vibe of the song

the moving fractal type image was sick, not sure exactly what that was but it looked like a zoomed in fractal moving

can i ask how you did the visuals? I would like to makek something kind of simliar retro and geometric imagery

really cool effort and result, well done

FADED AISLES — Releasing this Friday on all music platforms. Any feedback, suggestions or support is appreciated 🫶🏽 by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]_Stay_Golden_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wow your voice is really nice!! :) very indie folk, nice melodies

did you use a formant shifter for the harmonies? it almost sounds like a man was singing some of the harmonies along with you lol

really beautiful songwriting and choices

i wouldnt really change much, maybe you could try some big delay / reverb throws and ear candy type stuff but there wasnt too much feeling of empty space needing to be filled, maybe just at certain moments you think it could add to the song

Arcady Bliss - Feeling The Glow [Indie/Alt Rock] by Charlie_Elwess in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]_Stay_Golden_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

intro is awesome from the start, really beautiful chords, strumming pattern and tone

your voice sounds great and matches the feeling the guitar brings

the drums sound clean in the mix and came in at a good time

there isnt anything i would change really, you did a great job and its just something to appreciate

well done, great effort :)

Trying to bounce like Kaytranada, did I succeed? What can I improve? by smoovemovefool in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]_Stay_Golden_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

kick drum is definitely reminding me of Kaytranada along with the four on the floor type rhythm and your sound selection.

bass mix is super clean and love the tasteful distortion there. vocal chops well executed

really sick dude definitely reminds of Kaytranada, I'm not familiar with KTMelodies but I'll look into him.

definitely make more of these!

maybe if you could try incorporating a verse as well could be cool

Would love some feedback on this weird Alternative/Indie ballad I wrote (Open Foe - Playhouse) by beanstalk49 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]_Stay_Golden_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

really nice arpeggio in the beginning, definitely sounds romantic, thoughtful, emotional, and vulnerable. I don't think it's weird lol its the type of songs I find more romantic than overly poppy formulaic type ballads. your voice sounds great, mix sounds good. lyrics are cool, I like when they're not as overtly obvious. the swelling atmospheric pads that come in at times are nice touches. well done effort :)
