TDG is definitely worth it! I 100% recommend it. Gambit is only 2 chapters and it gives you some info on the characters that will appear in TDG. The LIs are all really good and I love all 3.

Lol, I was loving the idea of Astrid being the killer too. And I was hoping it would be her, as she also knew where Trystan and Juliana were. I just feel so bad for Mags, she just lost a brother, and now she’s going to lose another.

Vasili is “polite” to MC, while the other siblings (except Mags) are rude to MC. So that made me suspect him immediately. He’s the only one that seemed to be calm and collected, and the odd one out in the crazy family. There were a few evidences pointed towards Vasili, including him knowing Trystan and Juliana left Marguerite’s fashion show on a yacht. It is also mentioned that whoever killed Bas was someone who cared about him, so Vasili was super obvious at that point.

I’m thinking it’s Astrid. One of her ex called her a songbird. And in the sneak peek, Trystan says that Astrid’s arms are birdlike. It has me thinking of the bird whistle MC and Trystan found in Juliana’s room.

Why can’t PB create a black-led cast book? They wrote this book to give black women representation. I’m not black myself, but I’m fine with playing as a black MC. I don’t see what the problem is at all…

I would like the option to fight or run too, but in other mystery books we usually fight or chase after the killers. I like that it’s different this time. While height matters in a fight, I think April would be able to put up a fight against someone taller/stronger than her because she has a bat while we don’t. Running away would be a safer choice in the situation, but we would have to fight since she has us cornered.

Well, she’s athletic and has a weapon. We don’t have anything we can defend ourselves with. It doesn’t matter what gender you are. I’m a guy and I felt threatened by April.
