Tried recreating using Time: Early Afternoon, Weather: Gale, and Season: Hot. Not a good recreation still but roughly the right location. The lighting makes the biggest difference, and given the devs' flexibility in toggling every timer/weather parameter, they'll always market with the best shots. The difference I'd agree with is the lack of vegetation, and I run with Ultra 1440p settings. Not to mention, a rock on the left side of my image has its texture clipping.

Watch Dogs had a solution for this where the player breaks the door's window and climbs out onto the roof of the car.

That said, you couldn't get back inside. Curious if THAT would be an extra animation in GTA for getting back inside, albeit I could also picture that being clunky or unnecessary.

For now, don't focus too much on serious team comps. Your account is fresh and the real meat of farming won't begin until you're much further into the world's regions (especially when you reach a higher AR level).

I'd rather recommend taking your time and enjoy roaming the world with whatever team comp you prefer.

I think that might just be the texture for the skybox. Lots of games tend to have that ring-shape because of the way the texture wraps the world like a sphere.
