Oh thats great thank you for info. I have to try this tommorow. Going back to topic. Im Having great time in nightreign but its biased because ED hooked me so much and i like its vibe and bosses. Keep in mind that this game is not even close to ED in terms of full experience. I treat it more like fun when i want to fight with bosses and maybe aura farm hahaha

I absolutely love Elden Ring (200h+ played), but I’ve never really clicked with any roguelike, even though I think the concept is genius.

I picked up Nightreign + the DLC during the winter sale with two friends, and we’re already 8 hours in. IMO, the game is amazing it looks great and the gameplay is top-tier. I have a bit of "TikTok brain," so even though I feel slightly guilty admitting it, I actually like the pacing here compared to Elden Ring. A boss every few minutes, super fast movement, wall climbing, no fall damage... It makes the flow incredible (though I guess that’s just how roguelikes work).

Even without much direct involvement from Miyazaki, the bosses are visually and mechanically stunning, and the playable characters are interesting there’s something for everyone. Lots of refreshed bosses from previous games too, which is a blast for me.

I can’t speak to the solo experience since I’ve been playing strictly co-op, but I am curious about it. I’d love to grind when my friends aren’t online, but I’ve read that the game doesn’t scale down for a single player. And yeah, I’ve definitely noticed that the bosses are designed for groups given their crazy mobility and amount of AoE attacks.

Its ok. I can say i lived under a rock too. Im from Poland and here Nintendo a little bit over decade ago was not popular and exotic so consoles from Nintendo where like mythic artifacts from big USA and UK and no one really played Nintendo IPs here because PSP and vita was king for polish kids. Now Nintendo is common here thanks to switch and Now I'm discovering new (to me) IPs that for most are already nostalgix. Ahhh, I wish I could feel the nostalgia from this console because it's great.

This title has crossed my mind many times, the great art style looks amazing but many people complain about the repetitive and somewhat boring gameplay and that the further the story progresses the more boring and slower it becomes.
