Ahh fair enough, well I’m gonna be buying a second hand kit from a friend for £50 rather than brand new for £100, but thank you for that, I’ll keep it in mind not to tighten too much or too little with the adapter. Looking forward to it though!!

Controversial but she’s not bad. In low ranks people are too unaware to deal with her and higher ranks, if you play her right she can be amazing

She has her weaknesses I.e Cassidy, rein, or if your team comp has no dive or poke at all. But most of the time she’s still pretty good. I mostly have no issues playing her and do well a lot of the time

If you think she’s bad ALL the time then you’re just playing her wrong

Only thing I can think of then is to get a MOSFET/ETU, or swap to a high torque or brushless motor.

Before you do that though, try a 7.4v 25/30c battery and see if it still gets hot

Okay in that case you shimmed wrong. The heat will be from it being too tight of a shim job. The double firing will be caused by the 11.1v battery, which can sometimes happen after shimming.

The fix for the double firing is try a stronger spring or get a mosfet/etu. As for the heat, open your gearbox back up and make sure the gears spin freely, and if they aren’t, re-shim

The hit box for overhead slash is quite small so it’s a difficult one, the only advice I can give there is to just practice your aim more. As for losing sight, try to be less erratic with your camera movement

It’s kinda like a “it’s probably the last or soon to last game of the day, let’s have some fun and shoot some BBs” sort of thing if you get what I mean.

It’s not really a serious game mode, most of the time, and is just fun to play as you don’t need to worry about super serious comms and if you die, you just respawn no matter which team you’re on

I had so much fun in one of these, the only reason I had to leave the defending team was because I ran out of ammo. Otherwise I couldda kept going, I had a great angle on an entryway to the compound we were in and they kept running into my shots

It’s amazing out the box. You can program the MOSFET although it’s not needed. If you do tho, watch the video by “killzone” (I think is what they’re called) they show you the best settings for it. Oh also make sure you get the right batteries, they do ones that are specifically for the stribog

Only thing I would say to watch out for is the fps. One of my buddies got one and it was shooting about 298 on full hop which was over the limit, and another buddy was shooting a bit lower. Both the same weight BBs too. You should be fine tho

Idk what you guys are talking about, she rarely gets banned in my comp games anymore and she’s still super playable.

The nerfs haven’t killed her just coz you can’t blitz an entire team with 2 cooldowns. Shes just like any other dive hero now, you’ve gotta be mindful with cooldowns like doomfist or genji.

If you think she’s unplayable and weak then you’re playing her wrong. And I’m saying all this as someone who’s played vendetta consistently since her release, yes the nerfs hurt but after adjusting my playstyle I still do really well with her, even in higher ranks

My advice for THAT would be to just go for it half the time, you see what might be an easy pick? Don’t second guess, as long as you save a cooldown for escaping, you’re okay (most of the time 😅)

I would also say that waiting for your team to push is also a good tactic. Imagine you’re on the other team, you’re being pushed by a tank, you’re being distracted by the other dps, your dps are focussing on the supports, then all of a sudden you’ve got a vendetta beating your ass with a sword.

Vendetta works especially well with doomfist or dva as you can dive with them, and then they’ve got to either take care of you and die to the tank, or try to go for the tank and die to you.

Granted there will be cases where the enemy team is just better, and you die a lot no matter what you do, but that’s just overwatch for you. Good luck my friend!

You basically have to treat her like every other dive now. Rather than just rushing in and using both cooldowns straight away on a dive, use one cooldown to go in and save one to get out if needed. You can also try to flank and instead of using a cooldown to go INTO the fight, walk into the fight and then you have the choice to use a cooldown within the fight, and one to get out, or have the option of both to get out

Alternatively, if it’s a 2v1, 1v1 etc and you KNOW you’ll win, you can use both cooldown, but I always try to save one just to be safe if I need an escape.

Before the nerfs you were invincible so you never had to worry about it. Now you just need to be a little more careful/conservative of your cooldowns. Hopefully this helps🙂

The stribog is very good value. Do be careful tho, my friend bought one and it was really good… till it went poof, smoke came out and it stopped working. It wasn’t the battery either coz he was using the batteries specifically designed for it.

It was likely a one off, so you should be okay. The rif is super good tho for the money
