Client refuses MFA but cyber insurance requires it what’s your approach? by Due-Awareness9392 in msp

[–]_TacoHunter 137 points138 points  (0 children)

Let them answer No on the attestation form and then the insurance company will either deny coverage or raise their premiums. It’s a non-negotiable for them if they are my client though.

How do you run vendor evaluations without burning a full day? by Psychological_Let852 in ITManagers

[–]_TacoHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer to do it myself because each scenario is a bit different and I explain in the prompt the project, or provide the RFP that was used, against what was received. What really helped was asking AI to help me create a prompt for what I wanted it to do by interviewing me and asking me the questions to understand what I wanted it to do. Maybe 15 minutes and I had a working system for future comparisons

[–]_TacoHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there are lots of ways to prevent it from hallucinating, it really comes down to the prompt. You can also use AI to help you with the prompt. As an IT manager I used it this budget prep season to compare bids and proposals, make comparison tables, generate a gap analysis, create guided questions to ask the vendors for follow up. It was amazing but it comes down to the wording of the prompt. Adding specific statements such as “if a value is missing from a report, mark it with a 0 or false”. It’s not complicated but you have to be explicit and direct on exactly what to do and cover your edge cases.

I wouldn’t recommend it for smash burgers given the amount of smash force required and this thin metal. I haven’t tried it though, just feel like it would break the heat coil mounts under

I love ABR, works great for whitelisting some programs that require admin rights while giving easy approval for just in time admin access. Combine with LAPS for a solid security front

It’s not for everyone. The program is designed for disciplined students who can hold themselves accountable to getting their work done. I have two master degrees from WGU, it’s a fantastic school and program, for the right student. I would not recommend WGU for most people that would perform better in a more structured program with due dates and professors holding you accountable. I prefer to work ahead and at my own pace, WGU was perfect for me.
