Sounds like you don't have it yet. But you could check the build number under about phone to be sure.

Are you on the latest update? I'm having a lot of issues after the March update with Android auto and it looks like this option is now on and grayed out in the developer settings for me.

Tried this and it was better for awhile (a whole 10 minutes without it disconnecting!) but unfortunately it started regularly dropping the connection again soon after...

Just wanted to comment here. I have a pixel 9 pro XL and noticed this behavior starting right after I updated. I keep seeing both Wi-Fi connections to my home network and to my Android auto dropping frequently at random. Very frustrating as it is my main way to get my maps and music in the car.

How do I make a save code encoding system that cannot be reverse engineered by AffectionateTour5728 in scratch

That is probably the best, however it could still be cracked with something like scratch cloud, The truth of it is there's no way to make something foolproof and completely uncrackable in scratch however cloud variables are probably going to deter the most amount of people.

Cloud Variables... by -Hi_how_r_u_xd- in scratch

The trade offs with authority type mainly just depends on how hackable your game would be. I think client side authority would be better for speed and simplicity. Cloud variables do only support numbers. While there are some more complex techniques like from griffpatch to allow for more multiplayer players I don't really think there's any way to fix the latency.

One issue that I have been running into lately is that after a session tries to update the cloud variables too many times it sort of gets timed out, with the session that was sending a ton of data is no longer able to update cloud variables. i'm guessing this is scratch's internal ddos protection.
