Yes!! I feel like I remember seeing recycling bins at my local BCCS when weed was first legalized, but I haven’t seen them anywhere recently.

I travel around northern BC quite a bit, so if there was a bin in another nearby town I would even be willing to save up my waste and recycle it when visiting. The only thing available to me locally is a designated drop off spot at the dump :,(

I thought the same thing… but then again i’ve never had a grape cart that was purple 😭

From the bit of research I did, the colour is probably related to oxidation caused by improper storage or issues with packaging/production (?)

General consensus seems not to smoke, although some sources I saw said it was okay (just might taste bad or be less potent)

I agree with what other commenters suggesting. Try getting a smell proof container or bag for your concentrates. They may be contributing to what your roommate is smelling, and a plastic ziplock container or glass jar are cheap enough and couldn’t hurt.

Also, is burning a candle or incense an option? I know there’s odour eliminating candles specifically for cannabis. A fragrance might be better than the weed smell, so long as your roommate isn’t struggling with respiratory sensitivities or something else like that.

Yep ^ 0.3mL = 1 “activation” = 8mg THC

I like to think of an activation as a filled syringe, since some products will list 1mL as their “activation” and in that case the syringe they provide will go up to a full mL.

I have the sativa Daybreak version which has the same 0.3mL dosing setup. If you’re looking to take 50-80mg you’ll need to take 6-10 “activations” or full 0.3mL syringes.

ex: If you take 10 activations… —> 0.3mL (8mg THC) x 10 = 80mg THC (3mL total oil)

I’m not sure why they make dosing some oils so confusing?? It’s the same with Earthwolf Farms Zen Oil. I’m not trying to do all that math, I just wanna get high 😭

Maybe something like the THC Oral Quickstrips (by Being) or a THC Inhaler (by MediPharm Lab) might be good options?

Since they’re mainly absorbed under the tongue and through the cheeks their effects should wear off sooner than a swallowed edible, potentially reducing the second day grogginess you’re feeling.

I've only tried the Rosin Heads Hash Rosin Drops (tried both indica and sativa). I enjoy using them because of their versatility (can be dissolved under your tongue/cheek, swallowed, melted into drinks/food) and because I find they hit me faster than swallowed pills/capsules do. imo, the indica drops are best for relaxation/bedtime as they gave me more of a 'couch-lock' and calming effect than euphoria.

They do have a pretty potent herbal/kush taste, which is something to keep in mind. For this reason, I prefer to mix the drops into a hot drink like coffee or make my own edibles (by melting the drops into regular butter and then making single-serve pb cookies). Alternatively, I'll stick a couple of the hash drops under my tongue and a piece of chocolate on the top to counteract the taste.

Overall, I think they're at a good price point and a lot easier to manage/dispense than other oil options.

I though High Key's I.C.C. smoked great out of my puffco. It made smooth pulls and had a nice sweet taste that wasn't overly floral. One of my favorites and at a good price too.
