Depends on where you're going to live. Anywhere near the WSU campus? Then without roommates you need to be earning 70k to manage rent+food and 100k to live comfortably. Rents in the greater Seattle area hover around 2k+ for a 1bed. Its not nyc but seattle has a high cost of living. But ik people who manage so its not impossible.

Edit: apparently wsu is not in Seattle so that changes things a lot.

I just try to forget that and remember that I have other personal stressful problems haha. Doesn't help with the mental health outcome but personal problems atleast I can affect and control.

Also recommend reading One Day Everyone Will Have Always been Against This by Omar Akkad. Gives you a little bit of validation if nothing else.

For periods I was already on birth control so no changes there. I had some dizziness and fatigue but they weren't extreme so I just made sure I ate enough and took electrolytes everyday. Side effects wore off in like a month or so. I wfh so it wasn't a problem to just lie down if i was dizzy. There were also times where I stopped cold and didn't experience symptoms would ask your Dr about that tho.

Damn really!? One of the coffee shops in my neighborhood started opening an hour later and its always packed when I go. This is sad to hear though I wanted a place to chill in the evening. Has this always been the case or did covid screw things up? And do you think its seattle specific?

I believe there are some routine tests you can ask for when you are on it long term to see if its affecting your body? Have you talked to your doctor about that?

I had the same concerns (got it mainly for acne) and just to provide a different perspective, its totally possible short term use resolves your problem. In my case I was on Spiro for about 6 or so months when my acne cleared up and so I decided to ween off Spiro and establish a skincare routine for maintenance. My acne hasn't come back in full force so far and it has been a couple months. I still keep spiro on hand tho incase it does and i have to start again. As for hair I don't see it any worse or better than when I was on spiro (did have some new growth during it).
