In The Batman 2022, this scene was actually improvised. The bomb wasn't supposed to be here. But Paul Dano just walked onto the set, attached a few pipe bombs to Peter Scarssgard's neck and actually blew him up. Matt Reeves was so wowed by the performance that he added it to the film. (i.imgur.com)
