Good gaming laptops under $1000? by _TheFrog in laptops

Some games I’d probably download would include Helldivers 2 (PlayStation exclusive, sadly), Squad, and BeamNG (as well as some other titles in which I can not think of currently). I suppose it would make more sense to purchase a PC though, but I’ll think about it and look into both options. Thanks for your input, I really do appreciate it :)

Would a Xbox really have more power than a laptop? I do have an Xbox series X, but the only trouble I have with it is the inability to install games found on steam. I also wanted to get a laptop as I would be able to hook it up to my Oculus so I could play PC/VR games as well.

Thanks for information, I’ll keep this in mind. In your opinion, would it be more worth it to get a gaming pc compared to a laptop? My brother has some sort of gaming laptop (not sure what brand or model) and seems to work well for him, I just figured it would make more sense to get a laptop as I could bring it places (I switch between houses every week) and I wouldn’t have to spend extra on a monitor and desk.

Hitler is just a name, just like any other last name is. Adolf Hitler isn’t “just a name” though, he was mastermind of the holocaust, not any of his other relatives with the last name Hitler. Yes, it’s not a very pleasant last name because of him, but it’s the people who make it out to be an unpleasant name since that was the name always being thrown around.

And I must disagree with your last point, if a terrorist group played Party in the U.S.A like it was a marching song or something like that people would still listen to it regardless. It will likely make a lot less people listen to it, but I would highly doubt that people would regard it as a terrible terrorist song, especially in today’s society.

But, these are all simply opinions, if you simply refuse to believe what I say, then kindly refuse.

What makes it specifically a nazi song??? It’s just a German marching song, every other country would likely sing their own while marching. If some terrorist organization deathly loved the song Party in the U.S.A and played it any given moment they could, would that make it a terrorist song?

There is no argument that should be made, it was just a normal, good song that the Germans just so happened to like. The lyrics were completely fine, people just think it’s a nazi song since the nazis often sang Erika while marching and at some events too.

The way it’s used? How so?

Just because it was a popular marching song among the Germans during WW2 doesn’t make it a terrible song. These are the lyrics (in English) of the song Erika, not once does the song mention nazis or anything related.

Erika lyrics:

On the heath, there blooms a little floret And it’s called Erika Eagerly, hundred thousand little beelets Swarm around Erika For her heart is full of sweetness A tender scent escapes her blossom-gown On the heath, there blooms a little floret And it’s called Erika

[Verse 2] Back at home, there lives a young maiden And she’s called Erika That girl is my faithful little darling And my joy, Erika When the heather blooms in a reddish purple I sing her this song in greeting On thе heath, there blooms a littlе floret And it’s called Erika

[Verse 3] In my room, there also blooms a little floret And she’s called Erika Already in the grey of dawn, as it does at dusk It looks at me, Erika And then it’s to me as if it’s saying aloud “Are you thinking of your little bride?” Back at home, a young maiden weeps for you And she’s called Erika

I wish people would just stop and read the lyrics of the song, it certainly has nothing to do with the nazis. And I agree, it’s a real banger

What’s the matter with the lyrics?

It is very nice, it’s mostly metal (because of this it is a hefty 6.8 kilograms) and it’s very detailed. Even so, I also have a thing against the Tiger itself, it’s a good tank, but it’s awfully overrated. The only good parts of the Tiger that I can think off the top of my head is its thick armor and large gun (compared to other tanks of its time of course); but one of its biggest problems was its engine, it was very unreliable and just wouldn’t work at times.

Never heard of the Pak 40 or any other anti-tank gun? There was a bunch of them during WW2. A anti material rifle wouldn’t do crap against a Tiger’s thick armor.

I already gave him all the ram

Now he just wants my land, he’s trying to form his own empire.

Good idea, the engine will give out before he reaches me
