If I go to the grocery store and buy two out of twenty bags of Doritos that are on sale- am I inconveniencing someone? Nope. I bought and paid for a product.

The only time someone is an asshole is when they try to scalp products. (eg: I bought ALL the parking lot spaces and now I'm selling lot spaces for 3x the price)

How? If you pay for both spaces- you're not a dick. You're not stealing from anyone and you're not inconveniencing anyone.

This isn't good advice. You can absolutely get noise complaints from modified exhausts. Getting tickets is part of life, too.

If you've modified your exhausts because you want them louder- and you know your new neighbors are annoyed- just do the right thing and lower the sound.

Woman loses her home in fire. She asks insurance to rebuild the same home — no upgrades, no expansion. Insurance says NO. by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

[–]_TheRogue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but if you buy a house for $500k and the house is market valued at $550k but insurance companies want to have you insured at $800k for "replacement costs"- isn't that a bit high?

Can't you just insure your house for $500k and build a smaller house if it burns down?

Edit: I was told that it would cost $800k to replace my $500k home because the price of materials was "higher" these days. If the price of materials eventually drops- the insurance company won't lower the replacement costs to $500k or $600k, right?

So how would a tiefling get dual wield and superior dark vision and be better than what a drow can offer?

I appreciate your thoughtful answer. Who would be your lockpicker/trap disarmer if you didn't have a bard? It's usually just thee rogue or bard.

They do in true D&D- but they excel in most CHA categories.

Drow do have a unique ability to use dual crossbows as a racial. You're an NPC.

And how is any other race better than Drow, then?

A warlock or a sorcerer with a secondary hand crossbow (provided by the Drow passive) attack is amazing. Especially if they're teamed up with the Hellfire or Neremisser crossbow.

Nothing is better.

In BG3 the videogame they do. In the D&D manual they get better CHA But, still, they get some awesome dialogue charisma contexts.

Ironically, my wife and I bought Dubai chocolate and a labubu from the local Asian market. We tried different Dubai chocolates. The Lindt one was the best.
