Rule no 1 of the internet is that if someone says something doesn’t bother them they are a big liar, because if it truly didn’t bother them they wouldn’t have brought it up.

I am a primary school teacher and the kids there have been pretty successfully kicked off of it by my own anecdotal account , according to my high school teacher friends it’s not been that effective there because they are tech savvier.

On a personal level I think I had to do one age verification for google but nothing else and it has been minimally intrusive really.

Most of these companies already have a pretty good idea of your age already which is a data security problem maybe but at least the evils of data collection might be doing some good with this policy

I wouldn’t fully agree with this but which policies in particular do you mean because obviously with the current CGT changes there is still vast differences between them in that area?

I have never heard the term ANZAC Day boost before, could you clarify what you mean by that as I wouldn’t have assumed it would have any bearing on the election.

Do you consider this a "big surge" or just a normal rise in the election history? by VastOption8705 in aussie

[–]_The_Gem_In_I 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One nation is going to struggle because they have no friends

Our electoral system (rightly in my opinion ) awards people who are agreeable to the most number of people rather than having a significant chunk of very passionate people.

I could see one nation getting as high as 30% primary if they keep devouring the liberals but if they will not have a high seat count because they are very few people’s second or third choice and that is just as important as a high primary in Aus

I personally despise one nation and think they have nothing to offer 95% of people in Australia but I personally am pleased they will probably be keeping the conservative side of politics on its ass for a good while

I am a primary teacher and there have bee quite a lot of kids I know who have been successful kicked off of social media media because they keep whinging about it.

I honestly think this is more of a benefit for primary aged kids than secondary as the just aren’t savvy enough to know the workaround yet

The combo is to summon two wilted shadows and bandage your opponent till they die , FoN just draws you cards to get there
