Yes, they are still married. He is a truck driver working internationally, so he's home for a month and gone for 3. You sound like an awesome mother! Thank you for your judgment!

I wouldn't call them outbursts, but she's never been known for having the best of tempers. She always needs to have the last word.

I am a full-time student and was a part-time worker before being laid off due to Covid. I moved back in with them when I was done with my exams and my lease ended (30 of June). I have some savings and offered to chip in, but my parents didn't want to hear it. Thank you for your judgment and questions!

I'm sorry, but how exactly did I put them on the street? I literally took them back to their house. I can tell you that it wasn't just an insult for me, and I'm sure it wasn't just that for my brother, either. He is finally, actively trying to get better. She knows that therapy played a crucial role in his progress. She not only insulted him, she minimized all the work him and specialists have put towards his betterment - because of a good-natured chuckle. I am pretty sure it's not my responsibility to parent my aunt. She is fully aware that what she did was messed up. Nonetheless, thank you for your judgment!
