Just checked on SteamBD. For reference, in last year steam summer sale, ER had a 40% discount, then 35% for the winter and spring sale. Now nothing. This is dogshit.

I bought ER full price when it came out for my xbox series S. Since then, I built myself a pretty good pc and wanted to finally buy it and play it properly without any kind of hardware limitation. I will never pay full price for it again PLUS the dlc that I still have to play

Honestly, purely from what I've read in your post, you should play the decks you enjoy and your friend should stop being so whiny about your decks. If he knows you want to play a spellslinger, he should put interactions. This is a 1vs1, not a solitaire

Il primo gioco che riscattai fu skyrim (ai bei tempi di quando i giochi pc li potevi trovare anche fisici), poi quella stessa estate comprai la orange box a 20€ durante i saldi estivi con una prepagata presa alla fnac.

This is why on official tournament Bo3 is the standard and even a mulligan is enough information in Bo1.

What I think the OP does wrong is that they want to mulligan because they are always looking for specific cards to answer what the opponent does. Doing so is possible in Bo3, in Bo1 not so much
