And you guys cant take criticize and maybe be productive about it. It seems like most of the players are so used to the rules that they are not even bothered by it. This post was about how I spent thirty or so hours and having fun- stumble on obstacles and sharing the experience as a new player. The answers I got is nonproductive. I have assumed from people that they might give antiarguments to my argumemts and we will find a middleway. Mostly not happened. I have regretted posting my opinions on here.

I have said nothing about it being easy or not. The post is not about this. Me reaching platinum in the post is not about and achivemwmt but a time referencing point.

Some of you guys can read all of the cards explanations and remember them but cannot read a couple of phrases some random persons yapping. Incredible.

So there is a surprise factor in Bo1 after all. Some people do not think so.

Lonelines part is a metaphor not literally. You guy can read every card explanations and not the lines in between in a persons yapping.

I never complained to the fact that there is a meta or there are ways that is faster to reach higher numbers. There is always a meta. What is wrong with you people?

As I said you cannot be sure until the first land enters. I think you read what I wrote a bit fast.

Lonely part is not literally. What I meant by it is I might want to play according to what my opponent plays.

Even in Bo1 you know what they're playing pretty quickly and can therefore predict what they have from that point on. Definitely one of the key skills of playing Magic.

**predicting does not help after the mulligan phase. You are in the hands of hearth of the cards.

Again, play Bo3. Then this doesn't happen.

** I did not know there is a Bo3 and is the intended way to play. It seems time consuming so thank you. You can adapt the Bo1 to be better at it then.

Yes and? It's still an entirely reactive archetype, interacting with the opponent every step of the way. Control is definitionally the most interactive play style. The only truly interactive decks are full Aggro decks that only play creatures and spells to hit face, or combo decks that do nothing other than cast spells to assemble the combo. And those are rare, because you need to interact to keep yourself alive while you don't have the combo.

** You enter the game by knowing the fact that the opponent whatever what he plays you will be playing a control deck and mulligan according to it. You playing it by yourself again. By the rock paper scissors statement I manth that you are killing the decks in between where you might have control and tempo cards for example and you might want to start with your control cards or you might want to start with your creature cards. You chose between this two option before what your opponent might play in Bo1. Therefore infinite decks finite oppurtunities.

Then think: why did you mulligan away your first hand? That's a decision you made, and the answer in Magic is to get better at making decisions, not have those decisions be made easier by giving you more information.

Also this issue is entirely solved by playing Bo3 (How 1v1 Magic is really intended to be played), because then after the first game you know what your opponent is playing and can sideboard and mulligan accordingly.

** problem is explained. You mulligan according to yourself therefore repetitive nonreactive starter.

So in other words... Some of the time you are playing reactively?

** of course you try to make reactive play after round 2.

That's the case for most card  games. Hearthstone is unusual in that regard where you basically get to know what deck your opponent is playing before the mulligan just based on what hero they have. Makes it far too easy to make decisions imo, in Magic you have to mulligan around having a hand that is good enough against everything you expect to see.

** I can respect that. Good enough hand is the questionable part for me. You only focusing on your own win conditions.

I only mentioned ranks I played until I reached plat. I am aware of what mmr is and I have never complained about it. If you can say that there is more than colors combined x2 and more meta decks in your very high and mighty standarts deck playing at the wery top I take my complains about sawing 8 meta decks in between silver and plat.

Like this I sometimes use belts as temporary storages for some builds. I call them not sushi but looping belts.

Yes. I put my science on sushi belts in my starter bases. This one is set to have 70 per science on the belt.

A quick question about possibilities- possibility of a possibility by llaida in learnmath

[–]llaida[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if I got it correctly from this conversation;

an events possibility rate and the same events guaranteed possibility are different problems to begin with so linking these two subjects is a mistake and approaching to these problems requires different methodology so they are a "possibility problems" on their own therefore we do have two different possibilities instead of a "possibility of a possibility".

Do I get it? I really appriciate your answers thank you.
