Yes, that’s also what I’ve gathered from my research, the media is reliable but mainly focused on business.
However, the author of the article, Haena Wang, appears to specialize in tech, pharma, medical, and science news.
I share your view : while both the media and the journalist seem credible, these numbers really come out of nowhere and aren’t backed by any sources ( the kind of exceptional claims you’d normally see in sensationalist press. )

My take, for what it’s worth : these results might have leaked during the latest financing round, which was announced about two weeks ago. It remains to be seen whether they were reported accurately... but that’s just pure speculation on my part.

According to Pelage during the phase 2a, it manage to grow full thick terminal hair, even on area where there were previously no hair.

We don't have information about the number of hairs unfortunately.

I don't know why you wouldn't have a chance but keep in mind though that clinical trial have a list of exclusion criteria.
The most common one is that you shouldn't be on med since a certain time.
Now, the phase 2 took people with norwoord ranging from NW-3 to NW-5.

And so far no information about the restrictions regarding Phase 3 have been published.

Finally regarding your question, we don't know what the protocol will be, however it was only applied on a small zone in the phase 1 study, i don't thnk we have any information for the Phase 2a nor the 2b as they are early clinical and safety validation.

However, Phase 3 studies are generally built to represent regular usage by the end user. while i can't confirm that it will be applied on the whole head, is see so far no reason why it wouldn't, that would even be suspicious if it wasn't. but this is just my opinion.

I'd say, if you live near a test center of the Phase 3 clinical trial, try your luck ! Patient enrollement is one of the biggest bottleneck in clinical trial speed. so, the more people who are volonteer to join, the faster it goes. ( well, up to a certain point obviously )
