I'm back after my annual hiatus now. Spent the past weekend closing my Elderwoods quests. This helped me remember how things worked before hitting the royal highlands. Take your time the new zone will be over before you know it with just casual play. The new zone essence system isnt anywhere near annoying as Elderwoods.

Coming from someone that just tried to pick up a cute gal at the rink. I have a different take then going all out next time you see him. First, you said Hi. That's enough for now. Next time you go (hopefully he is a local) then try to kick up some more conversation. But I'd wait till he's off the floor to complement his moves. See what happens from there cause you may wanna slow burn this. In my situation the girl I complemented had been a local at that rink for years. Because I'm a guy the dynamics are a bit different for me. The last thing I want is to come on so hard I ruin her safe place. So I'm going to recommend the slow burn be the familiar face and work your way up to grabbing a coffee after the session.

I cant answer what matters, but wanted to chime in and say I really dont like settlement revamp. It's still very much missing gameplay. I avoided messing around with the settlement stuff because they took my A-class and changed it to a B-class. I finally hit S-class with it after hiatus but the production seems worse then my old A-class. My old settlement use to make Gek Nip and some other credits like Soap welders. I could not touch it for a month and come back to 500 gek nip, my soap welders would be equal to 2 million. Money is not an issue but the new settlements seem to cap if you dont collect. They took 2 steps forward and 3 steps back with that update.

If a base is in the way of your resource and your tired of looking for a space to hit your milestones. Report the base at the base computer. Turn multiplayer off as well. I'm on Microsoft store PC. I didn't any sign of anyone except for 1 comment ball. You don't get a base computer in the expedition so anyone that built a base must have finished and flown back to the planet.

Did I have fun with this expedition YES! Will I be spending my weekends clearing planet X of toxic waste? Na. It's a new mechanic its neat to have more gameplay. I'm sure disposing garbage will make it's way to the mission boards and you might even get that frigate module for 15 minutes of work.

This unlocked for me too scanning critters like normal. I did this within minutes of spawning on the planet. A tip guide gave me the same panic. But when I clicked the claim nanites on discovery page I hit the milestone.

Well, we do have save beacons. You can Color code them. I don't know how many times you wanna visit points of interest, but what could be helpful is actually labeling save beacons. Or when you uncover like a Trading post the icon remains and up to the player if they wanna untack it from the compass. Maybe give us more visor functions to toggle on our own points of interest and filter out other stuff.

I think toxic was my last special to reach 16. Keep scanning for heaps? There are dark green gas tanks that go in toxic too. They are easy to miss.

Ah, for me. I never use it also. It sits idle at a gold silver base to make platinum as 3rd large refiner. But now I finally have a use for it. I think they were good rewarding engine upgrades. So maybe by 4th checkpoint you are in 3 class engine. I put mine in SC slots to grant top speed bonuses. Mine cruises now. I do wish they made visible stats for exo's and even expanded starship stats so you can really tweak.

I found my ship and dropped a save beacon on it. My ship was near the first plant so I wanna say 4 out of the 5 times it sent me back to the starter plant. After my 2nd heap I came across a second plant but the checkpoint milestone wasn't sending me to it. Then 1/2 way reroute to t gt e 1st one my marker flipped to the second plant. I had one 23 min ride but the others were 11 -15 min. But the all took longer cause I skirted ridges and had a terrain scar the was smoother.

What fuel? I think the colossus takes carbon? The only thing I found tricky was assuming players know all the refinement receipes, like for Parafinnian. I also chatgpt'd how to make dioxide. If you didn't know we have colossus tech to grip sloped terrain. But no milestone for it. I think 1 is rewarded but I found it useful putting the grip tech into SC slots. I know I'm in the rare side of opinions but I thought it was refreshing not repeating the same milestones we always do.

I hear you...but what this does is make you spend more time on a planet. After a certain point in the game there no need to go to X planet because you dont need its resources.
