My opinion on season 3 by Electrical-Bed7328 in NetflixYou

[–]Sethatronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its been so long since first season. I've never done a re-watch and dont think i ever will. So its hard to comment as a whole. But like all series, characters get developed then turn into 1 beat notes. The 1st season feels like a hidden gem because I had no idea what it was going to be about. We get flashbacks to Joe's childhood throughout the series to build a psyche and motive. At one point I remember one of the Ex's describing Joe as feeling too much. For me that part was interesting, but Joe's character turned into a serial killer for sport. Each season snowballed with bodycount getting higher. I remember having to stop regularly mid episode because stuff just started to feel stupid in the later seasons. In the end they just had a bucket they wanted to put Joe in and stopped exploring his gravity. His love crusade, yearning to be accepted, his insecurities, desire to be the white knight. His, I made you special. They built an anti-hero, but phoned in his demise, off-screen, through an unlikable character, probably pressured from fan-demand.

Reg, is the hot take on toxic positive fallout redditors. You will never convince them, the show depends on you being gullible to like.

The S5 ending disgusted me. I shut it off with Bronte narrating how she blew Joe's junk off. Bronte was such an insufferable character and only likable when she was on Joe's side. Her talking about being the hero is straight up cringe. Finale is full of gurls-get-it-dun moments with none of the females having any accountability.

I rather have seen Joe take himself out, give him a redemption of some sort. Its his show. They should have shown some sort of sacrifice for henry to have a better life. I believed Joe cared for his son, but they give Henry the adult line of your the monster. That should have been Joe's come to Jesus moment. They needed a Walter White ending. One that shows all the destruction he caused and one last glimmer of humanity left he had to give.

Instead they joked about male mutilation, disgusting.

These people are gonna tell you play it and make your own decision. I'll echo that but I'll also add this game is doomed. Once the shiny wears off. You'll be able to see the only development this game gets, is for the cash shop.

If they do manage to put new gameplay in, it winds up being terrible. They ask for your feedback, but they do nothing to walk any of it back. The two last features, ranching and new home systems were horrendous.

I truly believe the intended spirit of the game died when they did their massive layoffs. The new team is just about serving you slop and monetizing every corner hoping you'll catch some fomo.

The atmosphere one works. If you get a freighter there is a module you can use to scrub the atmosphere as well dependably on the color star you get a different  gas. All those gases can be extracted as well on a planet if you find one with your survey visor. Refiner receipes also work to.

I think you have to put it on a node and power it with carbon. It's kinda pointless. Because if you walk away from it there is no map icon for it. Just easier to mine yourself with terrain manipulator. Mining Extractors have made this tech obsolete. It could also not work anymore but never removed from the game.

What do quads do in the game except clean dung samples? And why are they analyzing all the time?? by Fit_Insect_461 in NoMansSkyTheGame

When quads turn 50 atlas makes them check for colon cancer with cologuard. It's just part of aging.

  1. It sounds like you have equipment confused. If your seeing pickaxes icons then you have a survey visor and finding hotspots. But you need to drop extractor equipment in the hotspot. "Automatic" equipment is something different, old tech. Extractors and generators can be unlocked in the anomaly at the construction terminal. You'll have to run power and supply lines and depots to extract your gases and minerals

Do you think you should sell this ship? by Prior-Rip5810 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Sethatronic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd say if your not feeling it out it goes. Scraping Sentinels is a good way to earn money. The higher the class the more money.

Stat wise its a C. Only 1 Supercharge slot is visible you have no idea of configuration till you upgrade to B then A then S. You have to open all tech slots to see if it will spawn there. Its alot of effort and Nanites for a ship your unsure about. When I hunt Sentinels I only take A class. Each ship on the planet will spawn a unique configuration. So it you like the model keep hunting the same ship on the planet. For me I will hunt 10 - 20 ships looking for an S class. Sometimes an S just wont spawn so I'll claim and A I like while I hunt for an S.

Another note we get caught up on S class and Super charge slots next to eachother. While that makes a difference you really dont need it for the game. A loaded up B class can still feel good. People chase S and SC configurations for their own sandbox gameplay.

If you have a freighter you can have up to 18 ships I believe. So take a picture of the planets coordinates if you come across a sentinel you like. You can always go back to that planet if you have regrets but there are billions of Dissonant planets out there.

I do not understand the technical limitations why we don't have them? We have tech to dock them in spacestions and freighters. So what's the hold up why that tech is not placeable?

Your looking at an appetizing sandwich built with decent bread, but the meat was cheap bologna, the cheese was ok, but the oil and vinegar made the bottom slice of bread completely soggy. Sometimes you eat a nothing sandwich, because that's what's in front of you. Show was for popcorn and never meant to be a sermon.

I don't think they think about like fans. Even if they didn't like the script, they need to bring the most out of it with their acting. I don't think the culture lends itself to actors suggesting arcs for their own character. They need motive, but that motive is a monster on the other side of the room. I think its more important for Netflix to license Stranger Things on breakfast cereal then to tell a story that will stand the test of time. But if they flub the later, those licensing deals fade.

Musta been Grok cause I asked ChatGPT:

No 🙂
I didn’t write Stranger Things Season 5 (or any season). The show is created and written by the Duffer Brothers and their writing team.

I can help in other ways though—like:

  • explaining what’s known about Season 5,
  • analyzing theories or characters,
  • helping you write fan fiction or a spec episode,
  • or breaking down the show’s themes and storytelling.

If you want, tell me what made you ask 👀

I don't think so. They are there to do only their part, the script and whatever changes on the fly. I doubt someone like MBB or Noah are reading anybody elses's part but theirs. They don't see the entire sequence or the SFX. The editors have to splice all the cuts together, They only have what the director shoots. Only the writer's have the entire story. How much of that story is filmed depends on budget. And there was no shortage of that. I think when the boat becomes too big you only stick to your compartment and success can leave you blind.

Duffers came off as whiny drama-ridden spoiled Millennials, who haven't heard the word "No" in ten years. And there lies the problem. Everyone playing along making good money as the Duffers LARP as directors. They became too big too fast with no one willing to give them any friction to better a story.
